i order from them at lease 3-4 times a week . great service and food ***** stars
Best pho in Boston and you'd never expect it.
For me, pho isn't just a meal; it is the ultimate comfort food. And I eat quite frequently, if not weekly, maybe every 2 weeks. I will gladly eat it in the dead of summer, as long as the restaurant’s AC is pumping, and my recent visit to this local gem is making me want to come back again the next time I’m driving by this area.

Viet Tastes is a cozy Vietnamese restaurant in Lowell that offers a variety of authentic and delicious dishes. The menu features popular items like pho, shaken beef, broken rice, and fried rice, all prepared with fresh ingredients and full of flavor. The pho, including the Pho Dac Biet, is highly recommended and considered top 3 in the area, with the tables equipped for customizing the soup. The broken rice with grilled pork chop, shredded pork, and egg loaf (cơm tấm sườn bì chả) is beautifully presented and tender, showcasing the restaurant’s commitment to quality. The shaken beef fried rice is flavorful and fragrant, while dishes like nem sausage spring rolls and pork belly Bahn mi are praised for their deliciousness. Special weekly offerings like goat hotpot add variety to the menu.
The restaurant is family-owned, with friendly staff that make visitors feel welcome. Portions are generous, offering great value for the price. Customers appreciate the cozy, welcoming atmosphere, making it suitable for both lunch and dinner. The drinks, especially the coffee, are strong, rich, and satisfying, complementing the hearty meals. While some reviews mention occasional awkward service and smaller portions for certain dishes, overall, Viet Tastes is seen as a hidden gem for those craving real Vietnamese comfort food.
