“Been drinking Idle Hands beers since they were in the original Everett location (I think it was a slasher movie film set). Quite simply, the best beers you can get unless you leave the continent and head east, and they’d give the European breweries a run for their money too. Top notch!“
“Went to get lunch when we got to Boston. Was close by our hotel and I love craft beer so was excited to try something local. Split the burger for lunch which was excellent. Tried three different beers and enjoyed each one. They didn’t do flights but do offer small pours so it made it easy to try different brews.
Venue was nice as well and easy to get to in the Seaport area.“
“Attended a class pop event here today and it was fabulous. Beer Selection was awesome.“
“Love the vibe of Notch, and of course, the BEER! The owner and staff are great, attentive, and always there with a smile. Yoy got to try the pretzel and look for special events like the monthly meat raffle! I appreciate their policy of 21+ at night, kids are great, but sometimes not all the time! Speaking of kids, I especially appreciate the staff encouraging parents to be attentive to their kids during earlier hours so they aren't running around unregulated. Kids need to behave in public places like this!“
“Stopped in this past Saturday, on a trip up from Florida. Watched the dog training class for a bit and their welcome inside, and sampled a couple of the "offerings". Great brews! As a former home brewer, brought back a couple memories (Porter and IPA). And the bartender was GREAT!! 🙂“
“Mancini Soul Project definitely recommends night shift brewing. the best people, staff and brews!!“
“The previous time I went, it was frustrating arriving and leaving by bike because the painted bike lane was constantly full of rideshare drivers who pull in front of you/into you without checking their mirrors. I went back for the first time in a while last night, and the new bike lane makes it so much less stressful to share the space with those drivers, so I feel much more comfortable coming back. The vibe in Portico itself is great, so I am glad the trip there and back is getting less stressful!
(Sorry, I don't know how to reply except by editing my review. It looks like May 25th is a Sunday; is it then or Thursday the 22nd?)“
“Granite Coast is always pouring a wide selection of fantastic local beer, you are sure to find a new favorite. Their tap room is always friendly, welcoming, and a perfect spot to hang with friends or meet new ones. You get to meet everyone involved in making this place truly awesome and learning their passion about the brewery, including Jeff the lead brewer. GCB is a great addition to the main streets of Peabody by supporting the community and other small businesses, and this is why they are one of a handful of places I will support. If you haven't tried them yet, you should, because they truly are the last best place to stop for a drink before you get to Salem.“
“The staff at Backbeat are awesome!half of them are brewers so they can answer any question. The pizza with hot honey is incredible!“
“Great beer/seltzers/food, great space, friendly staff!“
“A fantastic family friendly brewery that is truly owner operated, and always a delight. Twisted Fate has been my go-to brewery for the past two years, serving up a variety of fantastic beers.“
“If you haven’t been to Castle Island Brewery yet, you’re missing out on one of the best spots in Boston. From their friendly staff and rotating local pop-ups to live music and unbeatable weekend energy, it’s always a good time. Add in their award-winning brews and Bardo’s delicious food menu, and you’ve got a go-to destination for your next visit to Southie“
“Absolutely love em but it baffles me why there are no Cider or wine options... I'm glad they have a rotating seltzer but if it happens to not be a winner then I just literally won't bring my wife there... Far from the tree is right there“
“I attended a private event held here hosted by the Beverly/Salem Chabad house on Friday night and was blown away with the hospitalty, service, coziness and beer! What an incredible venue! One of the owners, Tim was gracious and personable. I tried three of the 10 beers they had listed and all of them were unique & yummy! I loved that they aired The Celtics game, too on their large flat screen TV! And their holiday decore was tastefully spread out. I also admire their display of abstract art created by local artists. This is a win win place to stop into for a cold, home made beer while chit chatting among locals. I will be back!“
“Great open space with a patio area and a rooftop area. The craft brews are great and the charcuterie options were spot on.“
“🎶 simply the best 🎶 amazing beer, atmosphere and people ~ no place like it 🥰“
“Casual venue for drinks. Was quiet in a snowy Saturday. Large selection of beers and one cocktail in a can. Some diversions for kids (basketball, some board games). Large slice of tasteless pizza. No parking (altho it was so quiet that we grabbed an employee parking spot).“
