“Went to get lunch when we got to Boston. Was close by our hotel and I love craft beer so was excited to try something local. Split the burger for lunch which was excellent. Tried three different beers and enjoyed each one. They didn’t do flights but do offer small pours so it made it easy to try different brews.
Venue was nice as well and easy to get to in the Seaport area.“
“3rd brewery of the night before the party and I settled for the Friday Decisions Bitter (on a Friday, too). The bartender was really cool in explaining what the beer can machine does and the nuances of laws surrounded beer. We also liked that there was card games for us to play while we drink. The bitter, was well, bitter. But it was also pretty smooth and I eventually gulped the last few ounces.“
“Attended a class pop event here today and it was fabulous. Beer Selection was awesome.“
“Mancini Soul Project definitely recommends night shift brewing. the best people, staff and brews!!“
“Notch Brewing is a great day drinking spot especially on a nice day. They have a nice outdoor area with benches where you can enjoy your beer and food. The sausage sandwich was good. Nice combo of flavors. The pretzel was your standard pretzel. The beers are served in big glasses/mugs so be ready to drink. Food is limited to shared bites. They do not have extensive menu so eat before or after you come. Cool spot if you are into beers.“
“We went for the first time today and the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. We got to try a few things before deciding on what we wanted. Would recommend checking this place out.“
“Great time, the staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was laid back and very enjoyable! Great beer. Can’t wait to go back!!“
“Granite Coast is always pouring a wide selection of fantastic local beer, you are sure to find a new favorite. Their tap room is always friendly, welcoming, and a perfect spot to hang with friends or meet new ones. You get to meet everyone involved in making this place truly awesome and learning their passion about the brewery, including Jeff the lead brewer. GCB is a great addition to the main streets of Peabody by supporting the community and other small businesses, and this is why they are one of a handful of places I will support. If you haven't tried them yet, you should, because they truly are the last best place to stop for a drink before you get to Salem.“
“1.) Earth hour is my favorite beer out of all beers right now
2.) I love this place. They have an awesome outdoor set-up with cornhole, and lots of sunny seating. It's tucked away from the busy streets and there are a few community gardens sprinkled around it. Sometimes the smells from the chocolate factory nearby (I think its called tazo) drift by and its like that moment as a kid when you come in from a crisp fall day and the sun is shining through the window just right and you can see the heat coming off a sweet treat fresh out of the oven. awwwhhh!!! and you've got a cold delicious beer in your hand. I think the reason portico is really able to give me this feeling though is of course the people that work there. I go over pretty regularly so we kinda know each other now. Every time I walk in I'm greeted by the biggest smile from whoever is behind the bar which feels cliche to write, but whatever it still feels good. I've talked to one of the owners a few times, and he's kind and welcoming as well. He was happy to take time to talk about brewing with me, and turns out he lives a few streets over. I never feel rushed and every time I've gone I've had a lovely time. The folks at this place have been so kind to me, and I selfishly hope it continues to do amazing because I like going here and I like their beer. you should go here too.
Cheers,
Matt“
“We LOVE Drop Zone! Delicious beer, fun variety of food options, and the best team running the show! Jason, Genie, and Caden, as well of the rest of their team make it a must visit place!“
“A little chaotic but to be fair it is prime witch season. Order drinks at one register and food at another. The burger and loaded fries are fantasticly worth the chaos. Schodingers cat was my choice of beer and loved it. My go to beer is a lager“
“Friendly staff and a fun place!!“
“The staff at Backbeat are awesome!half of them are brewers so they can answer any question. The pizza with hot honey is incredible!“
“Very good pizza! Happy to add that fifth star when you guys give more options for toppings.
Thanks for your response. I good start would be hamburger & pineapple and some of the other toppings that the food truck has.“
“Been grabbing cans here since I moved up to Salem from Boston. I thought I was spoiled living in Boston so close to trillium, but honestly this brewery is on that level. Smooth IPAs, a variety of sours, great staff and a good vibe inside. Lucky to have this spot so close by.“
“Great open space with a patio area and a rooftop area. The craft brews are great and the charcuterie options were spot on.“
“I’ve become good friends with these guys and as a fellow brewer in the community, I love their beer styles and vibe of this place. They aren’t afraid to push boundaries with styles, they’re genuinely awesome people, and I’ve been honored to collaborate with them on 7 different beers.“
“Perfect cider with no carbonation or added sugar. Love it!“
“Casual venue for drinks. Was quiet in a snowy Saturday. Large selection of beers and one cocktail in a can. Some diversions for kids (basketball, some board games). Large slice of tasteless pizza. No parking (altho it was so quiet that we grabbed an employee parking spot).“
