“500 Ocean is a beautiful property with some amazing amenities. It is in a great location, surrounded by ocean views, restaurants and very accessible to the T, literally right below the building. My husband and I had a great experience living here and had rarely any issues. The main issue we had at move-in was addressed and we were even offered a small gift for the inconvenience. I love the maintenance staff and they are always so pleasant and helpful. One of my favorite parts of living here was having an in-house fitness coach/ personal trainer- Cienna Jade! She is so amazing to work with and has really helped me along my fitness journey. It was so convenient having her come to the 500 Ocean gym, which is one of the best gyms I've seen in an apartment home. She conducts 1 on 1 sessions and will literally work with you on scheduling a time that's convenient for you as well as offering group or couple sessions! Overall, very pleasant experience!“

Among others, the steak and cheese calzone, jalapeño poppers, and carrot cake have stood out to me. The flavor is phenomenal and the service is excellent! The owner works in the kitchen and personally takes your order and makes it.

“We went on a Friday night and the restaurant was not crowded - I think because it hasn't yet been discovered as it's off the beaten path, tucked behind the Alewife T station amidst the apartment buildings there. They have a lovely ambience with spacious outdoor seating and a fire pit as well as a spacious indoor dining area that doesn't make you feel crowded next to strangers. The restaurant offers a small menu but with very interesting flavor combinations - especially among their house cocktails - and there was something for everyone (vegetarian or carnivore). “This place is located on Lewis Street. Out of all the sub shops located in the area this is my absolute favorite! There's only a few booths to eat in but the food is always made how you want it and if you are not happy with your order they will remake it for you without questions or hesitation. What i love most about them is the staff, including the owner, he likes to know and speak to his customers and works alongside his staff and just as hard as they do. He knew my son loved the pizza so when I would walk by with him the owner would have us come in and give my son slices of pizza ?! Giovanni's is definitely #1 sub shop in East Lynn!
