Ordered a half ricotta/arugula pizza,they messed it up and then rushed the 2nd one out after 40 mins of waiting. This was 2pm on a wk day only 8 people at the bar(bartender seemed extremely disorganized, people had to ask twice for their drinks) and the food that went with the pizza was cool when it came out.The interior is very nice(was awful before) and maybe I caught it on a bad day,but I don't like to think I have to get them on a good day. Great pizza! The renovations look great, but it does feel louder in there without the rugs. Unfortunately, there is a very unpleasant waitress that ruins our experience each and every time. She is very rude, snarky, and unprofessional. Several customers have made the same comments as well. We were not impressed with the organization of the restaurant after the remodeling and having to deal with the same rude waitress. I believe her name is Charlene. Visit to Cafe Sorrento was somewhat disappointing. High notes: steak tips though looked to be overdone were excellent medium rare. Salads were very good. Waitresses were excellent and very courteous though somewhat harried with a busy lunch service. Sausage/steak tips plating looked sparse. I realized that there was not a pepper or onion on my plate and the few roasted potatoes were cold.
