We celebrated my husband’s birthday in 2021 and had a great experience. We decided to dine there again for his birthday this year. Our experience was quite disappointing. Our server was professional and attentive but the service was extremely rushed. The food came out so quickly it couldn’t possibly be made to order. We had oysters, lobster pad thai, lamb bolognese and the shrimp entree. We enjoyed the oysters. Everything else was poor. The shrimp dish only had 2 shrimp, lacked...read full review

With excellent food and service, the restaurant provides a simple elegance that enhances the overall experience. Guests can choose to dine in the charming garden area, which is undercover and U-shaped, or in the beautiful dining area overlooking the backyard. The menu features dishes such as bluefish pâté with homemade chips, tuna tartar, halibut with zucchini, and oysters, all made with fresh ingredients. The Lobster BLT also comes highly recommended. While the wine list may be pricey, the food is reasonably priced. With its heated outdoor seating, creative drinks, and excellent service, The Chanticleer Restaurant & Gardens is a fantastic spot for a nice dinner out, especially on a lovely day.
