The food is amazing! Chef Aguilar is a gem! Each dish is exquisitely prepared on absolutely delicious.
The parking lot is on S. Sixth street, so you get to walk through a cute New Bedford neighborhood before heading into a beautiful, modern yet cozy feeling atmosphere! The food is delicious. I LOVE a baked sweet potato (you can't find them at many restaurants). The seafood was fresh and the bartender, Nicole, was amazing. We will be back!
First of all, great cheerful service from Sophia and I decided to have the Roasted Chicken with the asparagus and jasmine rice.
The chicken was roasted to perfection and the sauce was fantastic - memorable....the chef absolutely knows what they are doing. Highly recommend!!!!!

222 Union Restaurant and Bar is a quiet and cozy spot, perfect for a date night. The food is absolutely amazing and very tasty, especially the Portuguese poutine. The chicken saltimbocca and Mozambique scallops were flavorful and reasonably priced. The chef cooks with perfection and creates dishes that are true works of art. The atmosphere is inviting, and the servers are caring and attentive. The Filet Mignon is seasoned to perfection and the best ever tasted. Bar is fully stocked and offers the best Caesar salad in New England. A must-visit dining spot in New Bedford.
