I’ve been coming to MaRaffas since I moved to the New England area for college, a true gem. I was introduced to the restaurant while visiting New Bedford with a college pal, she had been coming her whole life, and wanted to take me to her favorite spot. Amazing homemade comforts and value at a place that always makes you feel at home. The chicken broccoli ziti and cream is incredible, along with anything they put their red sauce on. My last experience with the food was a catered event that included salads, meatballs, eggplant parm, lasagna, both breaded and unbreaded chicken parm, and others. Everything was a hit. The flavor of their pizza is amazing, and customers love the pepperoni, linguica, sausage, and extra cheese pizza. The snappy crust is what it is all about. Other popular dishes include lasagna with extra sauce and meatballs, manicotti, and subs. The homemade meatballs are perfectly cooked and not dry. Portions are huge for a reasonable price, offering great Italian food at affordable prices. The staff is always friendly, and the food is consistently good. Dine in, take out, and delivery by Door Dash are always great. Ma Raffa's is quite popular and definitely worth giving them a try.
