The most authentic and delicious Thai food prepared with care in the heart of historic downtown New Bedford. Don't skip the crab rangoon, fresh rolls, tom kha soup or drunken noodles. Favorite stir fry: Chicken Spicy

Love the green curry with tofu. I asked to be spicy so they gave me an extra red sauce. It was ok though. The rice had a nice flavour. And the portion of the curry is very full filling. I am very happy for that.It is a shame you can’t dine-in yet, just take out or delivery.

The food is delicious in general and definitely the best Thai in the area. My only complaint is I found a couple of the dishes to be hit or miss but once you find your favorites, there’s no going back. We love the Thai lettuce wraps, crying beef, basil fried rice, papaya salad, crispy chicken, and lime rickey drink. I’ve been disappointed with the soups and pad Thai on several occasions so we avoid those now, but overall it’s great and we order from here constantly

Small, humble place. Ordered the pad Thai and drunken noodles with tofu---some of the best pad Thai I've ever had.

Hands down, some of the best Thai food on the South Coast. Awesome flavors in everything I’ve tried. Very generous with the portions and they don’t skimp on the protein and vegetables. They’re take-out only since COVID, so worth knowing that ahead of time. Facebook has the most updated menu. A great part of the downtown New Bedford restaurant scene!

Spicy Lime in Downtown New Bedford is truly a gem among Thai restaurants. Every visit here feels like a culinary adventure, and I can't help but sing praises for this place. The first thing that strikes you at Spicy Lime is the freshness of their ingredients. Whether it's the vibrant herbs or the perfectly seasoned proteins, their commitment to using the finest and freshest ingredients is evident in every dish. It's reassuring to know that what you see on the menu is exactly what you get. What makes this restaurant even more special is that it's a family affair. Run by a mother and her family, you can feel the love and dedication in every bite. The personal touch in their service is heartwarming, making you feel like you're dining at a friend's home rather than a restaurant. One remarkable highlight for me is how accommodating they are to allergies. It can be challenging to find places that truly understand and cater to dietary restrictions, but at Spicy Lime, they go the extra mile to ensure a safe and delicious dining experience for everyone. In summary, Spicy Lime is a beacon of authenticity and hospitality in Downtown New Bedford. With fresh, flavorful Thai cuisine, personalized service, and a family's warmth, it's a must-visit for anyone craving an exceptional dining experience.

Some of the best pineapple rice I've had outside of Thailand only thing missing, is the chili oil. The woman that runs this place is so kind and very sweet, and the fact that she has the sense of humor to have the sign that says. " ring bell for service or yell, ding dong, real loud",and when I yelled dingdong I heard her giggling in the back it was a great experience

Take out, super good, fresh veggies and unique spices and sauces.

Basically take out only, and have read the previous reviews about the 'dine in' aspect. Okay, its not great as far as aesthetics, the food more than makes up for it. Its a helluva lot more authentic (IMHO) than the 9th Monarch, or the lesser level, Sivalai for local Thai food restaurants (unless you want dine in, then go to the latter)Its THE choice for more authentic Thai dishes compared to that what's within a short radius if you're on the South Coast.

Probably the worst pad thai I’ve ever had in my life with haphazardly chopped veggies and fixings. Nothing was fresh. My friend who went inside to pick up our food saw a small child stacking coins on the floor..? I’m all about small business whimsy if the food is good but this wasn’t worth it. I feel bad because this is a small business that I’ll never return to. Sivalai in Fairhaven is way better.
