“The Olde Craft Bakery : My daughter had been gluten free for a long time. We purchased this bread at the beginning of the summer farmers market and continued to purchase it weekly. It is fermented which breaks down the gluten. Not only could she eat it and not have her belly hurt but it tastes amazing as well! The whole family is hooked on The Olde Craft Bakery bread. We’ve tried just about every bread they’ve offered - all delicious. Another plus, unlike processed breads, one slice is filling. The loaves freeze well too. Thank you For making delicious, healthy bread for my family!“
“Lovely family farm ? had several food trucks there, tulip ? picking day in honor of Mother's Day. You pre-booked and paid by the dozen of your freshly cut tulips? They were making hot , cinnamon sugar covered, cider donuts. Great gift shop, too!“

“This is my newest favorite bakery on the Seacoast! My husband wanted a latte and pastry on the drive up RT-95 and Annarosa's popped up on Yelp. What a surprise treat for the senses! There were a bountiful variety of vennoiserie from a simple croissant to fruit and custard filled puff pastries. And last but not the least, the breads!!! There are baguettes, olive breads, pain de compagne, and more! The closest comparison of this bakery would be Clear Flour Bakery in Brookline but only bigger. The owners are welcoming and take interest in their customers. There is no seating inside the bakery ample outdoor seating in the warmer weather. And for a limited time, they have fresh baked hot cross buns, so delicious.“

“Just moved to a nearby town, and so far this is my favorite coffee spot! I like that they have Atomic, and the food is great. I also love that they don't add any sweeteners by default here. Although be warned, if you're expecting e.g., your matcha latte to have a sweet vanilla flavor like Starbucks, you'll need to ask for the flavor as an add on.Parking: There are only a few spots up front, but there is a bigger lot behind the cafe that can be used too!“
“We had a wonderful lunch like always at Middle Street. Their bread is just outstanding making anything on it that much better.Their baked goods are out of this world. I had their bostock a week or so earlier and couldn't wait to come back in and have another! I did today and it did not disappoint!Service is very friendly and timely for a made to order lunch.“

“Everything I have eaten from this locally-owned bakery is stunning. From the latte's to the biscotti, the real-deal italian desserts, I am always happy when I leave. Everything is made from scratch. The meatballs, breakfast sandwiches, and breads are similarly scrumptious. The owner and the staff are welcoming, friendly and fast. I highly recommend it.“

“The best bagels in the north shore in my opinion. French toast, plain, all flavor and asiago are always extremely fresh (almost as if they're baked within the hour) #1 - bacon, egg, tomato w/ ghost pepper cheese is great with adding ham. Sausage, egg and cheese on a french toast is the holy grail. French toast bagel with walnut maple cream cheese is a delicious breakfast option.“

“After seeing this lovely bakery on Chronicle I finally made my way there. The location is beautiful because it's on a part of Main Street speckled with homes steeped in history. It's also next to the public library, so perfect to grab a snack while enjoying your book of choice. Upon entering it had a contemporary although very warm feel to it. The selection between savory and sweet was had me purchasing more than anticipated. I just had their goat cheese and spinach quiche for lunch and it was one of the best quiches I've tasted in a long time. The goat cheese was mild and creamy so not to overpower the other flavors. The crust was tender and buttery. I opted for the chocolate covered macaroons and am so happy I did. My family owned a bakery for 54 years. I'm used to being spoiled with the best quality baked goods, which makes me a bit fussy. Their macaroons brought me back to my childhood and were, are absolutely fabulous. I still have the scone and oatmeal raisin cookies to try but if they're anywhere near as good as these other items then I've just found a new favorite place. A must try for the fellow Foodies out there.Wheelchair accessibility: Very easy to enter from the sidewalk.“

“The Bakehouse was an absolutely wonderful stop along our journey back from a ski trip. Located right off the highway in the town of Amesbury, it’s easily accessible. The space is very warm and inviting with rustic undertones and plenty of patio space outside for those New England summer days. Must haves include the breakfast sandwich, spinach feta croissant, and honestly, all the pastries are phenomenal. The Bakehouse is a must visit!“

“Essex is truly lucky to have Googans! I work right around the corner and it is wonderful having a go to spot for lunch or a mid week bakery treat. My office loves their brownies and most recently their amazing chicken pot pie pasta as well as their carrot cake donuts.“

“My recent visit to Olive's Coffee & Bakehouse in Newburyport, MA, was an absolute delight, and I'm excited to share my experience. From the moment I stepped inside, I was enchanted by the charming decor, which creates a warm and inviting atmosphere. It's clear that every detail has been thoughtfully curated to ensure a cozy and pleasant visit. One of the highlights of my visit was discovering their mint matcha latte - a refreshing and innovative twist on the classic matcha latte. It was perfectly balanced, offering a delightful combination of flavors that I hadn't experienced before. This drink alone is worth a visit! The staff at Olive's Coffee & Bakehouse deserves a special mention for their friendliness and excellent service. They were attentive, welcoming, and genuinely seemed to enjoy their work, which added to the overall positive ambiance of the cafe. The food was nothing short of fantastic. The pastries and breakfast options were plentiful and all looked tempting. I particularly enjoyed the chia seed pudding and the frittata, both of which were flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The chia seed pudding was the perfect blend of texture and taste, while the frittata was cooked to perfection, packed with ingredients that melded together wonderfully.Overall, Olive's Coffee & Bakehouse is a gem in Newburyport. “I got the most beautiful and delicious cake from Buttermilk. I was stunned by the gorgeous cakes they had ready for sale, and got the lemon raspberry cake with macrons on top. It was soooo gorgeous, and tasted as good as it looked! The friend I got it for was so excited and happy. I will definitely get my future cakes from Buttermilk!“

“I decided to bring a dozen bagels to work for a party. I'm thankful for order ahead. Also the fact that they open so early when I'm driving by at 6am heading towards 95 is so convenient. The staff were super nice and had my order ready when I arrived. Several people asked where I got the bagels from so I know the taste and quality is top notch. I got almost one of every flavor and had them sliced for convenience. I also did a plain and a garlic and herbs cream cheese. So delicious! Maybe one of the best bagel places in the Merrimack Valley.“

“Went there first thing in the morning - such a charming little shop. Enjoyed the coffee and chocolate milk, both came home with us, along with a freshmade breakfast sandwhich. Nice to have it right near the airbnb where we were spending a few days. Friendly staff, counter space and tables were neat. Busy little cafe, waiting a few minutes was worth it.“

“Good donut shop. We got a glazed which was delicious, a sea salt chocolate that was really good, a maple which was probably my favorite, and a glazed chocolate cake donut which is the reason for the 4 stars. The cake donut was dry. I don't know if their cake donuts are supposed to be as dry as this donut was but we didn't finish it. Their regular brioche donuts are fantastic but I can't recommend skipping the cake donuts enough.“

“I called from NH after looking for over an hour for a last minute cupcake delivery for a VERY sick family member coming home from the hospital. Topsfeild Bake shop went above and beyond to help and deliver. Once they were delivered my family group text went on for hours as to how delicious and delighted they were with the delivery process. The photo they sent me was beyond what I expected especially for last minute. I can’t wait to stop in and buy some goodies next time I am in town!“

“This is only in regards to a first time visit. I have not eaten anything from CF yet. It’s on a main road but not a very busy road…convenient and easy to find. Tons of great stuff from baked goods to soups/chowders, meats, sauces, breads etc. don’t go hungry ? with that said, I got soup, chili and some meats. I hope to return here to as onto this review or add another after I’ve enjoyed this food. Hoping for total satisfaction!“
