“I tried this place yesterday for the first time and I am so impressed! So far I’ve had the tabbouleh, the Israeli salad, baked fish with veggies, challah and chocolate babka and they were all so, go good! I still have frozen soups and a mushroom pot pie to try and can’t wait to eat my way through them this week for lunch. The fish was so good I can hardly believe it was frozen. My daughter kept asking for bites so I will be sure to buy multiple next time. I’ve been meaning to try this place and wish I’d gotten here sooner. They are gluten and dairy free and mostly meat free as well. A lot of their ingredients are organic and they use quality oil. They were telling me while I was there that they grind some of their flours in house. You can taste the quality! It’s so nice to have a safe, healthy and DELICIOUS option for take out! This place is worth the trip and I will absolutely be back. 😊“

“My favorite, # 1 bakery in the Boston area. I've been coming here for years. Lots of, lots of love for this place and folks. ❤️❤️❤️🫶 Their breads and pastries are simply the best. It’s the kind of bread that takes you straight back to your grandma’s kitchen.

“Extensive vegan menu, delicious for a date night! Vegan does not equal healthy so come expecting fried, salty, sugary (yummy!) food. I had the steak frites which was really delicious, and a side of cabbage slaw which I was on the fence about. The only word I can think of to describe the texture is “viscous”. Hubby got the blue plate special which was tamales. He wasn’t blown away. But of course the deserts at Veggie Galaxy more than make up for any disappointment about dinner! “I stop by every so often for pastries and hot chocolate or tea. It's a lovely atmosphere with great workers. I decided to order a birthday cake for myself from them this year, and it was perfect. It reminded me of my childhood. Everyone loved it, and it tasted great even the next day! It was ready for me at the scheduled time and was easy to transport to my birthday dinner. We had the chocolaye crossaint, sliced salmon bagel sandwich and steel cut oatmeal with mixed nuts (oatmeal is reheated in microwave but was still good). I personally find the atmosphere a bit cold and bright and it could be cozier (although my wife wouldn't change it). Also, they quickly run out of stuff so you may not always get what you hoped for.“

I highly recommend them for specialty cakes or cookies, as I feel they can do anything you want perfectly! If you like caramel delights, that is the best cupcake I’ve ever had! The cakes I’ve ordered from there are always moist, and delicious. The staff is so friendly as well! I got over 100 cookies made by them for my wedding for my seating chart and everyone raved about them! I just got my rainbow birthday cake from there and it’s sooooo cool! I highly recommend!“

“My wife and I live close by and really love this place. Great food (including delicious daily specials), a very nice rotating selection of draft beers, and reasonably priced mocktails. The kitchen closes late, which is also a big plus. What we most love, however, is the atmosphere. The staff has always been very welcoming and nice to us. In fact, we had to evacuate our building quite late after a fire broke out a few weeks ago and they kindly offered to shelter us until we found somewhere to spend the night. No wonder why we keep coming back :)“

A beautiful café that feels so peaceful, considered and thoughtful in its every detail—the perfect place to sit with a friend, or take some time to just be alone and read a book. The co-owner Namwon has great energy. He was always really kind and welcoming to me and my boyfriend (we are from Australia, but Dado felt like a little slice of home). The food is really tasty (I could never go past their egg-salad sandwich; my partner loves the bibimbap wrap), and Dado, of course, has an amazing selection of teas. More than just feeding the body, all the meals felt like they were nourishing the soul. Just good honest cooking—maybe the rarest of things today. We’re about to leave Harvard this semester, and one of the great things we’ll miss is Dado.“

“I don't write many reviews. For me to write a review a restaurant has to be either really bad and amazingly good. Sugar and spice is amazingly good Thai food! My wife says it was the best pad thai she's ever had. My son had the tamarind duck, which I sampled, and I had the kanom jean nam ngaio (see pics). Both were sooo good. Service was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!“
