“I tried this place yesterday for the first time and I am so impressed! So far I’ve had the tabbouleh, the Israeli salad, baked fish with veggies, challah and chocolate babka and they were all so, go good! I still have frozen soups and a mushroom pot pie to try and can’t wait to eat my way through them this week for lunch. The fish was so good I can hardly believe it was frozen. My daughter kept asking for bites so I will be sure to buy multiple next time. I’ve been meaning to try this place and wish I’d gotten here sooner. They are gluten and dairy free and mostly meat free as well. A lot of their ingredients are organic and they use quality oil. They were telling me while I was there that they grind some of their flours in house. You can taste the quality! It’s so nice to have a safe, healthy and DELICIOUS option for take out! This place is worth the trip and I will absolutely be back. 😊“

“I started going here in 2020 and slowly became obsessed. Best bakery and cafe in Somerville. The vibes of the staff are phenomenal but additionally the food and tea are to die for. I always get the London fog with vanilla and the vegan egg cheddar sandwich. Don’t forget to try to banana tajin muffin!!“

“The diabolical junk foodicians have done it again! A vegan chicken sandwich with a waffle bun made with mac and cheese! Whuuut! The cubano was also stellar. Perfect bun, shredded jackfruit pork and seitan ham. My lord. They had a French onion soup that was also bonkers and quite complex flavor-wise.“

“My sister-in-law just sent me and my wife a door dash order to cheer us up, with cold brew and two pains au chocolat. I took one bite and… wow. Buttery but light and flaky, cooked just right - understated perfection in a bag! I grew up in France, and this is honestly one of the best French pastries I have had in 28 years living in the US. Even in France it's not every day you find one this good! We’ll be going there for more, can’t wait to try what else they have to offer!“

“Overall great food in a nice atmosphere. Busy brunch service with single line for pastries and eat in brunch orders. Cold brew was good but loaded with ice, wife's ginger summer drink was really good with a lot less ice. Lamb hash was full of flavor, but nothing exciting for brunch level with ground meat as the hash instead of pulled or shredded. Wife's muesli was delicious with fresh fruit. Counters and tables did not seem to be cleaned between patrons and we had to skip a few seats to find one clean to eat at. The brioche toast was delicious and we wish we could have grabbed some more pastries, but it would have been another 30 minutes in line.“

“I was in Boston for a business trip and one of my colleagues happened to stumble upon Tatte. He raved about the coffee and the pastries, so I had to try it. I ordered a coffee and the raspberry, pistachio tart.
It was amazing! The coffee was incredible. Rich, smooth, flavorful. Not too hot to drink. It’s everything you imagine a high end coffee should be.
The tart was delicious. Full of flavor, not overly flakey. Just perfect.
This will be my go to spot on my next trip to Boston.“

“My coworker drives from the North Shore for these croissants and I’m glad I finally tried them. I think the almond croissant and regular croissant are very good. The apple turnover was okay. I’m sure the canele is good too, but I think mine was very slightly underbaked. Will definitely come back.“

Colette Bakery in Melrose has some of the best pastries around! I’m a sucker for chocolate croissants, and the Cho-colette croissant at Colette is so delicious (pro tip, take the croissant home and toss in the air fryer to warm the pastry!)

“Here’s a revieWe had a decent meal at The Abby. The food itself was good, but we had a small issue with the salad. I had asked to substitute the fries for a salad, and while I appreciated the option, it came already dressed. I personally liked the dressing, but I usually prefer my salads without it, and would have appreciated being asked. Unfortunately, my partner didn’t like the dressing at all and ended up not eating her salad. A small thing, but it would’ve made a difference if they had checked with us first.“

“I’m from Texas and this has been hands down, one of the best restaurants/ bars that I can recommend. We have stopped at multiple places, enjoying incredible food and drinks… but none have matched this place. Not only are the drinks amazing, the food incredible.. (which I highly recommend the Choco Frito being the most tender and flavorful octopus that you will taste. I promise you will never have anything else like it.) but more importantly has been the staff here! Entirely welcoming, friendly and treat you immediately as family. “I am so grateful that a place like this exists. As someone with a severe peanut allergy I can never have baked goods. I also have a severe allergy to peas and pea protein which can be a common pairing of allergies. I did find that there are vegan pastries in the same case that are made with butter that contains pea protein so I didn’t feel 100% safe eating the baked goods. If they were to be more separate or the vegan baked goods didn’t contain peas, I would be here every single weekend. The staff was SO nice and went over the top to ensure I knew ingredients. Highly recommend but with caution if you have a legume / pea allergy like me!“
