Comella's is a great casual Italian food spot. I love the meatball sub especially. It is chefs kiss. Sammy's Mess is also amazing. They used to have fettuccine alfredo which was great but it wasn't on the menu when I went recently. Although the seating is small and fits about 6-8 people tops, the ambiance is inviting and relaxing. Ordered takeout and the worker taking our order on the phone was very nice. We ordered a large cheese pizza, a meatball sub, and stuffed shells. It can be tricky parking around here depending on the time of day you go. We went around dinnertime and luckily there was a meter out front but sometimes the traffic is so congested that you don't have time to parallel park and have to keep looking elsewhere at random side streets or things like that. This used to be a solid place to get a pretty good pizza and a great value. Over the last year or more it’s become a dirty, unreliable place with service that does not exactly inspire confidence. It’s amazing that the people who work there allow some of the food out of the building in the condition that it’s in.
