“After driving to two places that were either closed or stopped making food, my bf and I went to this place we always passed in the area but never went to. Decided to give a chance. Got soup and two chicken pitas. So good and I mean so good. I’m particular on my chicken gyro and I rarely eat the whole thing. But this time I did. They’re not the size of your leg like some places do but it’s a reasonable portion. Leaves room to eat the delicious lemon chicken soup. I am totally getting it on my day off this week. And the service was pretty quick.“

“Ah absolutely amazing food! Looked for the highest rated food place around where I was on Newbury street at that point, and this showed up. And the food was so comforting and amazing. We got the lemon rice and chicken, and lamb w/ spicy feta and had an extremely hearty meal!“

“Outstanding Gyro. The Tzatziki sauce was delicious! It's not often i say the meal was almost too much for me, but I can say it here. If it wasn't so good, I wouldn't have forced myself to finish it. The dining area is very small, only 3 or 4 tables, but there is a park right across the street where you can sit and enjoy your meal if you don't want to head home.“

We don’t get in town much anymore and visiting state street was on my date night list this past weekend but you aren’t open on the weekends :( I miss my chicken gyro rice bowl - spicy. “This place is super. I had nleave after I ordered cause my sister got out of her appointment early and I asked if I could put my breakfast on hold and pay for the coffee. The owner said not to worry and I could pay when I got back. I thought that was very sweet when I could ha e easily not returned. I know, its coffee, but its the principal. “The chicken parm and meatball calzones here are delicious. The cheese is thick and toasted to perfection with the correct balance of sauce that doesn't drip everywhere in each bite. The meat is tender and nicely flavored. Definitely the best calzones I've had. This place is a hidden gem. There's plenty of street parking for pickup of takeout.“
