I just had my mother’s retirement party and I catered it all from Taso’s and everyone could NOT stop raving about the food . The food makes a party and Taso’s made the event perfect!! But if I am being honest, the REAL reason I love Taso’s is because Kristina made my son feel at ease. She took extra time with him, on his first visit there . Daniel gave it a 10/10 rating!!! “The owners are incredible, and they've got some great stuff here. I will get my olive oil nowhere else, not even the International Greek Market further south. Really good produce selection for the space, and a ton of unique go-to dry goods, olives, canned specialties, and great selection of feta. I occasionally bring work colleagues and they always enjoy the atmosphere and non-rushed vibe. A few mentioned they weren’t fans of the omelet (1 was egg white, one was straight off menu), but scrambled eggs were a hit. Would love hash browns as menu addition instead of the breakfast potatoes (seems to be never eaten by guests), but otherwise perfection!
Prices are very reasonable, waitstaff is low key in a refreshing way (again, you don’t feel rushed, which is so nice these days), and seating is versatile and comfy

“Great cheese pizza!! This time i decided to try their streak, cheese & mush… was nervous as I’m very picky on them. So the steak was shaved with no gristle (can’t stand that), not too many mush (perfect), decent amount of cheese, toppings were all fresh so overall it was WAYYYY better than expected or for around here without going too far & the price was only $11 for a large. However, I got mine toasted, I picked it up within 10 minutes. The bread was soggy ? so I took off a star for that! But other than that, the taste was very good & meat of good quality.. I will just heat mine up in oven taking off lettuce (ugh annoying tho)! I don’t know if I would order another steak & cheese from them again but it was overall pretty good once I re-toasted it in oven. But definitely try their pizza. It’s actually cheap & really good, I always get their cheese in X-Large & have had their pepperoni too which was good! Didn’t have to ask for extra cheese or anything, it’s perfectly made almost every time.“

It was unbelievable good, on time, hot, reasonably priced and EVERYONE was impressed that a pizza party could be so elegant and so delicious. “I regret that I don’t have a picture of the food but the young woman that was working at the cash register told me how beautiful I was right when I walked in so that was awesome. She was very beautiful herself, so I really enjoyed my interaction with her. Overall though the staff was super friendly and I had called ahead for my food about 15 minutes before showing up and it was ready when I came to pick it up. The pizza did not last the moment I brought it in the house it was gone. The kids devoured this pizza. It was delicious! The perfect balance of saltine suite that you get from REAL Sicilian pizza so I loved it! The chicken tenders were huge, juicy and just melting apart. I just moved to this area about two years ago and I have still been driving into Mattapan or Dorchester to get food, but that will not happen going forward lol. This is my new spot so if you are in the Hyde Park , Milton and roslindale area, don’t cheat yourself!
