“We stopped by to pick up takeout and were pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant was open in the upstairs space above its usual cellar space. The host explained that due to a problem with the air conditioning in the downstairs space, about a month ago Heng Thai had moved their operations upstairs, but they might reopen the downstairs when students returned for the fall semester since the restaurant gets so busy. The upstairs is called Mahaheng and the downstairs is called Heng Thai, but for now, they seem to be a single restaurant. The upstairs space provides a nicer atmosphere and is a welcome change!

The food here is still consistently excellent. We ordered Pad C-U and pineapple fried rice, both with extra chicken. Adding extra chicken to the noodle dishes here makes the protein-carb-fat ratio just right for our tastes. Highly recommend this restaurant!“

We enjoy the ambiance in our usual cozy little booth by the window as we enjoy our adult beverages which are quite affordable. We enjoyed a shared egg drop noodle soup with an appetizer plate. My sour apple martini was perfection.“

“Best place to build own burrito/bowl. Went with a coworker and both felt it demolishes the quality of popular competitors. Fluffier rice, better veggies, more selection, all in an extremely clean service area. The person who served us was friendly, fast, and wrapped very large burritos perfectly without any issue. Bajas is the new standard for this type of food for us! :)

“I want to take a moment to recognize the exceptional service we received from Jack, our server at Olive Garden. From the moment we were seated, Jack was attentive, respectful, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. He took the time to make sure our meals were exactly how we wanted them. I ordered the chicken broccoli Alfredo with rigatoni, and my girlfriend had the chicken Alfredo without broccoli. Both were perfect, and his recommendations were spot on.

Jack maintained a positive attitude throughout our meal, kept our drinks full, and checked in at just the right times without being intrusive. He even suggested dessert, but we were too full to take him up on it. Still, the gesture showed he was invested in making our experience complete.

Overall, Jack made what could have been an ordinary dinner feel personal and enjoyable. He represents exactly what good hospitality should look like. He absolutely deserves recognition for the way he carries himself and the level of service he provides. Jack has real potential in this industry, and Olive Garden is lucky to have him on the team. We’ll definitely be returning and asking for him again.“
