The atmosphere is so chill, the bartenders are cool and down to earth, they have board games, events, a few arcade games, a beer garden in the summer and allow dogs. On top of all that, they always have a good, interesting selection of beers, and wine/seltzer options too.“

“My wife and I went for a weekday lunch. The proprietor was friendly and informative. The food was good. I particularly enjoyed the butter chicken and the samosas. “Castle Island Brewing is one of the busiest and amazing brewery. The beer collection is amazing specially the IPAs. They do have food and they had one of the best spicy wings in town for sure. It was filled with college kids and it took a while to find seating, but mostly you share table with others.“

“As someone who has Celiac Disease, I greatly struggle with finding good and safe places to eat.
Let me just start by saying, the staff here is beyond knowledgeable about their food, the ingredients, and with food allergies. I felt safe and secure eating there with my partner and some friends (two of whom are also Celiac). I ordered a caprese melt on gluten free bread with tater tots and chipotle mayo and immediately they were able to advise me that the mayo and the tots were NOT gluten free. They were able to offer suggestions, such as their chowder soup or their pre-bagged and sealed chips.
They were also amazing in asking if I had celiac or just a preference. They changed all of their gloves and utensils and prepared my food away from my partner’s food which contained gluten.

Honestly such an amazing place to eat. My partner and I have been saying how this very well just may become our favorite place to get dinner out!“

At Feijo in my hometown of Stoughton, I may have missed the novelty of the gaucho service of bigger Churrascarias, but I was able to eat myself into a meat coma for less than 2/3 what I pay elsewhere without highway or city traffic. 😵‍💫 Had excellent spicy pork sausage, top sirloin, brisket, picanha, short ribs & lamb. Would have preferred the beef to be more rare, but it was still moist & tasty. Market bar is a bit small, but staples plantains, cheddar biscuits & black beans with stewed pork are there & are outstanding! At such a reasonable price & so close to home, this place could nicely fill my need for a big meal of meat.“

“Cacao is a small cafe located in Newton Highlands, specializing in chocolate related confectionery and drinks.

We came in during the afternoon, and it was quite busy but the staff were very accommodating and knew the menu quite well, recommending some things to try out. They had a large assortment of pre-assembled goods to buy, such as chocolate covered nuts, as well as hot chocolate mix.

We tried the hot chocolate and the dulce de leche. The portion size was reasonable for the price, and the chocolate was pretty good. The hot chocolate was made primarily of dark chocolate, which isn't my favorite, but turned out to be a good choice as it cooled down and became more rich.

Overall, a great experience and would definitely come back to try again.“

“I frequent Cannonball Cafe for coffee and to switch up my WFH atmosphere. The pastries, lattes, iced coffees, and toasts that I have tried have all been delicious, and I always look forward to getting to spend the day at Cannonball when I choose to work from there. I love how the team at Cannonball is always thinking of new and fresh ideas when it comes to drinks and events, from unique lattes to farmers markets on Sundays and a beautiful new patio, they have been a great addition to the neighborhood and it's fun and exciting to watch them grow and develop. Where Cannonball really shined recently is when I called to place a large cookie order for our wedding welcome party. Rachel was happy to take on the order on short notice, and made some of THE MOST delicious cookies I have ever had (chocolate chip with sea salt, snickerdoodle, and sugar cookies with sprinkles.) Our guests loved them, and the 50 cookies that we ordered were gone by the end of the night (and we only had 35 guests!) I would highly recommend Cannonball for a quick coffee, a nice work day vibe, or to bring desserts to for your next party or event!“

They turned the old Starbucks location into something to cute and girly I love it. “This is exactly the type of food you want when thinking of tapas. The food is sooooo delicious with so many flavors coming at you, the hangar steak is unreal flavoring honestly could have just that and be very happy. The food comes out hot and fresh but recommend putting in a few plates per person from the jump. The only thing that might set this place back is the music and volume, personally for me it was fine but if you not in the mood for loud music or don't like throw back hip hop then just consider that.“

“Pressed Cafe is a chain of restaurants specializing in a wide range of foods, such as health foods, brunch, or casual dinner plates.

The parking here is not great, though take-out orders are available. The inside is quite spacious, with a bar section as well as multiple seating in the back. The staff are friendly, and they pump out orders very quickly even when they have many orders to go through.

I typically eat here for lunch, and have tried multiple different options. I found the clam chowder to be average, the bread included was a bit too hard for my liking but did go well with the clam chowder. The Buffalo Chicken Mac n Cheese is really good, it's one of my favorites to get. The breakfast bowls and salmon toast is also very good as well.

Overall, its a great place to visit and eat for a casual brunch or maybe a quick dinner.“
