“We went to the restaurant for the first time. The service was excellent along with the drinks. Enjoyed the food and would plan on returning except for one issue. There was a processing fee added to the bill. When I asked the waitress to explain this she stated that this is added when you use a credit card. Paying with cash will obviate this. There was no notice that the restaurant would add this fee and I thought that adding such a fee without notice is not legal. There are many restaurants that do not charge this exorbitant and inappropriate fee and we will dine there until this restaurant removes it.“

“I went wanting to have fried fish. They weren't serving it at the time, but since that's all I went there for, they made an exception for me. They also had flan, different kinds of tacos including tongue tacos, pupusas, and other dishes. It's a small mom and pop shop that reminds me more of a colmado than a restaurant. You can also buy different products that were popular in Latin America like Bubaloo bubble gum. You can also order the food to go. The price was really affordable (12 dollars for a plate with a whole fried fish and salad). The fish (mojarra) is traditionally served with a salad, and the fish comes with its face by default, so if you want it without the head you have to ask for the head to be removed. They also have very spicy hot sauce if you like it so.“

There’s another similar restaurant chain in the area and they need 24 hours notice. The team at Qdoba totally saved us and bailed us out here, taking the order with less than 24 hour notice. “I came here for lunch before shopping at the mall, and the food here absolutely wowed me! I got steak tacos with everything on, and a cheese quesadilla. Both were well cooked, and the tacos were especially delicious. I don’t usually have much faith in mall food court foods, but Tacos Mexico took me by surprise. The staff was also friendly and efficient - I came by right as they were opening, and it was impressive to watch them work and set up for the day.“

“Been here a handful of times and they never disappoint. We had the Carnitas, pollo and birria tacos and they were all delicious. Lots of great flavor, you can tell the ingredients were fresh. We cannot wait to go back and try the birria ramen.“
