Just had three varieties of steak and cheese subs. Ordered large onion rings and french fries. These are extremely generous orders. We should have gotten a small order of each. All three subs very good. Fast delivery. 4 people eating 3 large subs and we have leftovers. Good taste. Good value. Can't get good steak and cheese like this in the Midwest!!
We were looking for good food, not fast food and found it. For a late night meal,this fit the bill and was also inexpensive. Staff was friendly and food was good(huge menu). Husband had grilled ham and cheese and I had a small roast beef sandwich, which was packed with fresh sliced beef. Yum!
Came in to Salem/Peabody area late in the evening and after taking the dogs to potty and checking in to our hotel, did not feel like going back out in the rain to get dinner, so we ordered from Giovanni's House of Pizza through Grub Hub. While I did need to call the restaurant to make sure that they had received our order (not their fault), they were great and courteous on the phone and our food was actually about to leave when I called. Giovanni's House of Pizza & Roast Beef offers great food and service. The food came hot and fresh, with crispy and tasty crust. The marinara sauce is some of the best. A Chicken Bacon Ranch Calzone and a Pepperoni and Cheese Calzone were ordered. Small sizes are big enough for leftovers. Customers can build their own custom sub. This is a real classic, real deal North Shore fan favorite food. A lamb tip dinner plate with rice and salad was ordered medium rare. The tips had good flavor but were well done so they were dry. The rice and salad were good.
