Made reservations for my wife’s birthday. Food was excellent, Donna the server is top notch. She really made us feel welcomed and made amazing recommendations. I’ll be returning for sure. Thanks Donna!

Slack's Oyster House & Grill offers a mixed dining experience. While the excellent steaks and loaded baked potato impress some, slow drink service and menu limitations disappoint others. The French onion soup, salmon, and sea bass receive high praise, alongside the friendly staff. Guests appreciate the fresh Shrimp Cocktail, which has been praised for its quality since the restaurant's opening. The ambiance is excellent, and the staff are lovely and attentive, despite being located within a somewhat depressing casino. The restaurant is a great spot to get oysters or a meal, with large portions and good prices on higher-end dishes. Parking is plentiful, and wheelchair access is easy with no issues with elevators. However, noise from the nearby casino can be a downside, and some dishes may be overcooked. The restaurant also offers good salads and fish, but the dessert quality can be lacking, leading to a mediocre overall rating. Despite some drawbacks, it remains worth a visit, especially given the limited fine dining options in the area.
