Love this place! Everything I've tried has been exceptional. I'm not much of an ice cream but I was really blown away by the quality and how flavorful it was. The chocolate and caramels stole the show for me though! Highly recommend snagging some of the chocolate covered cookies as well.
We stopped by Kilwins today. It was such a charming shop and everything looked delicious. Unfortunately, my five year old has peanut and tree nut allergies and we were told quite firmly that there wasn’t anything safe for him to eat due to cross-contamination. I completely understand the importance of being cautious with allergies but the interaction felt a bit abrupt and disappointing for us as a family. Just something for other allergy aware parents to keep in mind.
This place is easily one of my favorite shops to visit. The atmosphere is always warm, welcoming, and just makes you want to stay longer than you planned. Every time I come in, I’m greeted with friendly faces and genuinely amazing service that never disappoints. The staff is always kind, patient, and happy to help, which really makes the whole experience even better.
