AWFUL. We went in today for a late lunch. Around 3pm. We waited 30min not bad, it cleared out when we got sat. ..but, The waitress took over 15 minutes to even greet us…(didn’t complain) a manager had noticed and had to come get our drink order and apologized. I think they gave me a virgin mudslide…it was a milkshake, my child could have drank it…my burger was still bloody asked for it well done. My husbands seafood was cold. The CabbyShack is a casual waterfront spot known for its chowder, pizza, lobster, and seafood options like the seafood casserole and seafood platter. The seafood dishes, especially the chowder served in a bread bowl, are highly praised and considered the highlight of the menu. The lobster roll and shrimp Mozambique are also popular choices. The restaurant features a lively and colorful decor, with underwater sea creatures painted on the walls, creating a fun and nostalgic atmosphere. Inside and outside seating are available, with a bar lined with stools and plenty of lighting to create a cozy yet energetic vibe. The atmosphere is friendly, and the setting by the water adds to its charm. While the food generally receives positive comments, some dishes like the street corn dip may not impress everyone. Service is attentive, and the prices are reasonable given the quality and quantity of the seafood. Live music some nights and a roof deck add extra entertainment options, making The CabbyShack a good spot to enjoy fresh seafood and a lively atmosphere, though the noise level can sometimes be loud.
