“Came for the weekend and will be back! Great place to grab a drink with no attitude. Mike at the bar inside was great and we enjoyed our stay all three nights! Will be back again. Not sure how we missed the place all summer long! Great vibe for sure!“

“Nearby activities: The Crown & Anchor is in the middle of town on Commercial Street. It is close to shopping, galleries, restaurants and so much more.Walkability: The entire town is walkable. The Crown is central to everything.Food & drinks: Food is excellent. Be prepared to pay for the experience as with most of Provincetown. The restaurant in the Crown has recently increased the quality of food being served.“

“I'm not certain that I want anybody to know how much fun this place can be, lest it fill up with tourists. It's where the locals hang out, and an occasional befuddled tourist happens in. It's dark, very small, low ceilinged, filled with "characters" and show people, and very high energy. Not for everybody though, but cheap draft beers, and you can "Scream Along With Billy" on certain nights, when the REAL Billy comes alive. And when it gets too hot, you can spill out onto the sidewalk courtyard and watch people walk by. But please don't tell anybody? One gaggle of "Bachelorettes" could spoil the whole thing!“

The Vault Gay Bar • $
247 Commercial St, Provincetown

“It’s an ok-ish bar. Bartender was not friendly at all. Great crowd on the weekends. It’s in the same area with the Crown and Anchor and it’s easy to miss if you haven’t been there because it has a dark, small entrance on the left side of the complex. Drinks are ok. Other bars served me stronger drinks. Moved on after one drink. Not highly recommended although, I still recommend just to experience and see the place“

The Restaurant at the Crown American • $$

“The place is located walking distance to everything! The room was clean, very well decorated, the bed was very comfortable, the fireplace and the kitchenette were a plus. The view of the beach was spectacular to say the least. Ricky the concierge couldn't haven't been more accommodating and going above his duty and we were treated like family. Curl the housekeeper make sure that out stay was unforgettable, very attentive to us the whole time. She couldn't not have been any nicest! Craig the operations manager couldn't not be any nicer, making sure that the room was top and the breakfast that he would have every morning was great!! This was my 1st time in P Town and I can't wait to visit during the summer and it is going to be a tradition going in the fall/winter season as well. Everyone that we encountered were just like we knew were family!“

A-House Gay Bar • $$
6 Masonic Pl #4, Provincetown

“The AHOUSE is the most iconic, most popular, longest running LGBTQ nightclub in Provincetown (arguably in the whole US) The complex features 8 different bars, including the Little Bar, a fun neighborhoody “everyone knows your name” sort of spot, the Macho Bar for the rugged Leather & Levi’s crowd along with a spacious dance club featuring renowned DJs from the LGBTQ club scene; multiple bars and a large outdoor area. Although being an LGBTQ safe space the club is all welcoming to those who respect others and the vibe of the establishment. First opened in 1798, serving as a tavern, an inn, and briefly as a courthouse, and frequented by such notable names as Tennessee Williams, Eugene O’Neil, and Marlon Brando, the AHOUSE is a stop on any Provincetown vacation not to be missed. Take the negativity in some of those other reviews with a grain of salt; the staff here are wonderful people .. individuals who are too intoxicated or behaving poorly understandably may have a negative experience but remember there are two sides to every story !! I ❤️ the AHOUSE and I am sure you will too!“
