Absolutely fantastic experience! The food is incredibly fresh and full of flavor. The owners have truly put their hearts into this place, and it shows! They are warm, welcoming, and make you feel right at home. We were so impressed by their dedication—staying late after closing to ensure everything is spotless and perfect for the next day. It's clear they take great pride in what they do! We can’t wait to return on our next trip, especially for those mouthwatering pastries. Keep up the amazing work!
The Portuguese Bakery fried dough here is absolutely amazing—one of the best we’ve ever had! This spot is always my first stop before strolling around and enjoying the sights!
Got lucky and managed to get a fresh malasada even though it was late in the day. Delicious. We also enjoyed the linguica-stuffed roll despite it being room temp; I can only imagine how good it is when it's super fresh! The egg custard was also on point.
Service was quick and friendly. Not much to say about the atmosphere; the whole point is to get in and get out.
Parking: Park in one of the paid lots. Street parking even in October was impossible.

Disappointing Experience at the Pastry Shop
My family and I visited a local pastry shop, and while they went inside to order, I waited outside with my miniature dog, respecting the store's no-dog policy. To my surprise, someone from inside called out loudly, "Please, leave." My family, who was about to order, chose to leave instead, and we decided not to return to such a dog-unfriendly place.
Fortunately, we discovered a wonderful fudge shop nearby. I stood outside, and an employee kindly invited me in, saying, "Please come in, we are dog friendly." I happily entered and bought several types of fudge. It was a much more welcoming experience, and I’ll definitely return to the fudge store!

Came in the morning, around 8:15 am Saturday, excited for the tarts.
They were stale and clearly yesterday's leftovers. Soggy crust. Should not be charging full price ($4) for leftover soggy pastries.

Friendly service and really good baked products. A must stop in place if you are passing through town and popular location with the locals.
My only complaint is I ordered a breakfast sandwich and watched the woman making it handle raw bacon and repeatedly touch every sandwich that she packed with the same hands in plain view.
Probably want to stop that as it is a major health code violation you see from the street and inside. Would you put raw bacon in your mouth? Thats what you’re doing if you order a breakfast sandwich from here.

We loved the place: the custard tarts are great, as great as those in Portugal; and you can buy different Portuguese foods and pops.

The iced coffee was not good, my wife took two sips and threw it away (very rare for her.) Unfortunately couldn't try what I wanted to try despite being in town for a week, as this place is consistently out of all savory food options. I'm not sure why they don't just... make more of the things that sell out? It must be good, lots of people old in constantly and it sells out, but if you can't ever order what you want, it's a pretty disappointing experience.

Best brownie from a bakery I’ve ever had. Portuguese fried dough/doughnut served warm, to die for! Absolutely worth a stop for anyone with a sweet tooth.

Love this little bakery!! There are so many different pastries to choose from. Staff works well to get everyone through as quickly as can be. Our family makes this a stop if we go to the Cape!!

A must-go stop in Provincetown, we actually came a second day just to get more delicious food. The linguica sandwiches and cheddar biscuits were terrific, but really everything is good here from croissants to banana creme pie to the sweet bread, of course. Amazingly well-manned with excellent quick efficient service, making the long line not only worth the wait but quick too!

best bakery in ptown! you cannot go wrong with anything in there, i think i’ve had everything by now and its all great. the parmesan and leek croissant is one of the standouts, its a twist on a classic spinach cheese croissant. the portuguese custard tart is also very authentic, tastes almost the same as in portugal. the lisbon chocolate cake and the raspberry cheesecake are my two favorite desserts but you cannot go wrong. don’t skip the fried dough either!!
