“I liked this brewery. The interior design was kind of industrial noir but with a friendly feeling and the layout for seating was done well. Very excited I got a seat at the window bar top. Bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable. They had a unique selection of beer, a few good choices with high ABV, and some beer types I’ve never heard of. I didn’t get one but they do offer flights. They also had a selection of games you could play at your table. The street parking was tricky but that’s because of the Cambridge and not the brewery’s fault.“
“Trillium never disappoints on beer but, in the past, I have had a bad experience with the food. Over the few years the food has drastically improved and is now very good. With their great food, great beer and family friendly environment, I think it's hard to not have a good time here.“
“The Tall Man and I were looking for a low key hangout with baby in tow, and Distraction Brewing was the perfect place. This new-to-us brewery on the cute pedestrian-only Birch St. had an outdoor patio but we opted for seats inside. It's not a big place, but it has a good number of tables and bench seating in a brightly lit space. The Tall Man got the autumn flight of 4 beers (one being one of their maltinis), which he enjoyed for their variety. I wasn't up for imbibing so I got a Health-Aid kombucha from the fridge. (They also carry Athlete's nonalcoholic beer in cans.) They have some packaged snacks for purchase, but they encourage people to get food from local businesses to eat there. It was pretty darn convenient to pick up lunch from nearby Chilacates. It made for a very chill lunch and sip. We weren't even the only ones with a stroller! It was a relief to find a brewery that's not utterly mobbed and where we could bring the little one. I would definitely come back for another relaxing hangout.“
“Place was rocking on a Saturday afternoon after a short renovation and reopening. Metal music, dogs, and hazy IPAs. A bit of an outdated concept at this point but it still seems to be working for them. On the pricey side but came for the lagers and was not disappointed. Both their Helles and Czech Dark were quality and quite good. Would drink the Helles (Logic Gate) regularly if I were local. Good taproom vibes and a few good eats available.“
“Great brewery. The beer was awesome Northeast IPAs as well as a couple of West Coast. The bartenders were awesome especially Brian wealth of information around the neighborhood too. first time in Boston he hooked us up with a couple other good restaurants.“
“One of the best breweries in Boston with the coolest vibe. The beers are super fresh and they have such a great variety between IPAs, lagers, porters & sours. Super friendly bartenders and a beautiful, spacious patio which is perfect for the warmer months. Plus they have great coffee!“
“I love this place. It's the place to go to chill with friends and have a good time. It's not too big place. You may feel like your friend's home to hang. I love it so much. The staffs are so kind which might make you feel like home. The beers are so good and sure you would be tipsy easily by tendering and caring of the staffs. I would be back here for food which I did not try this time“
“How was the pizza you ask? A wise man once said a picture is worth a thousand words!Awesome food and a nice beer selection. I will assert that this is a wonderful spot to chill, have good food, and meet nice wholesome people! ? PS - no wifi here so be prepared to talk and be social! Like its 1999!“
“Fun tour, we did it early morning. Needless to say, we had a good buzz by noon. Tour guides are awesome and friendly. At the end of the tour, they give you beer to sample. You get to keep your sampling cups, very cute. We had the privilege to sample 3 or 4 beers, I don't remember. There is also a gift shop and a "bar" where you could drink, not included in the tour. I would highly recommend this tour while in Boston.“
“The strawberry gose is legendary. I went back solely for this, but sadly it was swapped out that day to put their seasonal Oktoberfest on tap. I was greatly disappointed by that beer, but they have plenty of delicious brews, seltzers and sours to try. Definitely get a flight to see what you like. Service is excellent. I had the buffalo chicken dip twice (be careful... i had a mouth blister for a week because it's so good but it comes out lava hot), and the flatbread pizzas. Grab a crowler to go! My one request: please please please make crowlers of everything on tap!“
“oh my gaaaawd ? the food here is freaking AMAZING. I will be thinking about it every day until I return. Literally some of the best food I’ve ever eaten in my LIFE. Bao buns ? tacos ?? chicken sandwich ? EVERYTHING WAS FIRE ??? (beer was good too lmao)“
“More of the classic, metal-building production brewery layout than other high-profile breweries making the Boston area's best beer. But, more down-to-earth, too. Impressive range, focusing on IPAs. Lots of seating and free parking. Worth the drive down.“
“Delicious garlic roasted mushroom fontina pizza from the one slice that I had last night. I would say that the pricing is quite steep just for a slice ($6.42 total after tax) and wish food wasn't so expensive in the general area. Is it worth it? If you are hungry, sure. Service was polite and straightforward too. There is zero seating inside, so it is only takeout and there might be a bit of a wait unless you order ahead--about 10 minutes for a slice. Wear appropriate attire as there may be zero spots available to sit underneath the warmers outside at the benches during the cold. Or they may just not be on. The place is located within the Charles River Speedway along with other resident businesses. I believe they have a private parking lot but you do have to pay to park. So just be mindful of that as well. I do recommend Pizza Project if you enjoy pizza and want to try it out. Thank you~!“
“If you are in Boston, definitely make this a stop on your itinerary. Two of the nicest guys (Alex and Alex) took the time to explain their history, brewing process, and flavor profiles of their beers! The facility is clean, welcoming, and a nice spot to just chill with a cold brew. Thanks guys for your hospitality to the two Jersey Boys….will be back sometime soon!“
“We had a wonderful time at Barrell Z House this past Saturday. Our bartender, dressed in Germany garb for Oktoberfest, was so friendly and helpful. We had our little dog Ella with us and was made to feel welcome. Our bartender even brought us a fresh bowl of water for her. We got some delicious sirloin sliders for us and doggie biscuits with PB for Ella from the food truck. My husband and I enjoyed the IPA. We tasted two different types, one more fruity and aroma, the other more hoppy. We’re hop heads and both agreed that the more hoppy one was our fav! They have a nice, shady outdoor area with Adirondack chairs, a great space to soak up the beer and sunshine these early fall days.“
“Welcoming, clean, and a beautiful beer/selzter/cider selection. I had the mango peach selzter which was crisp, light, and not too sweet. I tried the cider which again wasn’t too sweet and actually tasted like apples. Queer friendly which is difficult to find out this way, so I think I’ll definitely be coming back. Perfect place to grab a board game and spend some time with your buds.“
“Had a company holiday party here, and the private space in the back was perfect! We had around 100 people, and the space/seating availability was just right. Pickle pizza and churros were a hit. Staff members were helpful and friendly. Would recommend renting out this space for anyone throwing a party!“
“The expansive menu caters to all tastes, offering a wide selection of seafood favorites and innovative dishes. With its warm hospitality and commitment to quality, Legal Sea Foods at Harborside is the perfect destination for seafood lovers looking to indulge in the best that Boston has to offer.“
“Absolutely LOVE it here. I take a road trip down from NH to the Cider house roughly every other month to stock up on flavors that I can't find in NH.This trip was awesome as I was chatting with the ever sweet and super personable Rasheen who is the manager there. She is incredibly nice and we love hanging and chatting with her about new flavors coming out and what may be discontinued. I get so happy after a 2 hour drive to see that she's working, it makes the long ride all worthwhile.See you soon Rasheen, thank you for everything!“
“Love this new location easy to get to from my apartment and went there with a friend for dinner. Their Buffalo Chicken Pizza is the bomb and a must try. Also their Pina Colada was great that I ended it doing two rounds. Being on two floors there is plenty of space for big gatherings or small because on the second floor there is a room that can be closed off with a private bathroom. I already have plans to go back again soon. In total there are four bars. One on the first floor and three on the second floor.“
“Night Shift at Lovejoy Wharf is a fun treat. I typically come here before a Bruins came to grab a beer and some food. Night Shift is, of course, known for their beers, and on that front, this location does not disappoint. Anyone who even remotely enjoys beer is very likely to find something on the menu- a mixture of mainstays and rotating offerings- that they will like. The menu is thoughtfully curated, and everything is decent to great. I especially like any of their baked goods, like the giant pretzel and the flatbreads. It can get extremely busy and chaotic during the TD Garden event windows, and this does impact the service and the ambience, but if you're feeling a little generous in terms of time and noise levels, you can't really go wrong in terms of a pre or post game spot for a bite and a sip.“
“It's right in front of Quincy Market, so I stayed there during the day and went to have a beer at night. As soon as you enter, there is a goods shop on the left such as tea, cups, and dolls. The store has two floors and is very spacious!A DJ plays songs on the stage downstairs. The song selection was good and the atmosphere was great.I tried the Best 4 sampler of beer, and beers 2 and 4 were the most delicious. It's a shame I couldn't order a larger portion because I was full.I recommend it to anyone who wants to go to a pub in Boston!!I think it would be perfect to have dinner at Quincy Market along the route.“
“That the young man overseeing the entrance and merch counter was reading Sartre’s The Plague was a good sign. So was being located along and near the end of the Somerville Community Path, at least to this cyclist in need of a pit stop. There are three standards by which to rate a microbrewery: food, physical location and quality of beer. Since I only had time (and good sense) for one marzen lager at the bar (tasty and refreshing), and tried none of their food, I can’t rate their beer or food. However, as a place to hang out, either inside—open but small enough to seem cozy, or outside on the patio overlooking The Common, it rates a 5.“
“I can't say enough good things about this brewery. The staff was incredibly hospitable and knowledgable. Some of the best lagers I have ever tasted, which is not to be taken lightly given their difficulty to perfect. Next time I make my way up from NJ this is at the top of my list, cheers!“
“Mar2024:Enjoyed the vibes and local beer I heard was good. They have this cool machine to make your own non alcoholic beverage. And the live music was nice as well with food spots to eat from if hungry. Took us forever to locate this spot but eventually we made it.“
“Friendly staff and great beverage choices! Their soak seltzer is amazing and doesn't have a disgusting aftertaste. The raspberry beer was sour, but very very smooth. I'm not a big fan of seltzers or beer, but this place changed my mind. Will be coming back here!“
“The bar pizza here is so good especially the #9 steak pizza laced and well done. The alcoholic beverages are on point with just the right amount of alcohol. Our bartender Tony always made sure that drinks were never empty. They do have Keno and plenty of flat screen tvs with multiple sports playing.“
“My colleagues and I had an outstanding experience from start to finish. The customer service was exceptional, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure that we had a memorable time. The beer selection was fantastic, offering a wide variety of brews to suit every palate. The food was also great, from appetizers to entrees. Finally, the atmosphere was unbeatable. The perfect spot to unwind and enjoy good company.Overall, whether you're a beer enthusiast or just looking for a great place to hang out, this brewery has something for everyone. I'll definitely be returning soon!“
“We were in town to see Aerosmith at Fenway and were hoofing it around town.. We went in because we like the name and stayed because the food was excellent, our server was informative and fun and the many different types of beers brought a great buzz.“
“My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at Break Rock Brewing. It was an absolute hit! We are huge brewery people and this place was right up our alley. It is right on the boardwalk of the beautiful Marina Bay with stunning views of the marina. They reserved an area for us where we had plenty of room. They don't serve food, so we had our dinner catered by Fat Cat right around the corner. Their beers are delicious and their staff is super friendly. The planning process was incredibly easy and their event manager was very responsive and transparent throughout the entire process. They also had a live DJ and arcade games which were a huge hit! Highly recommend hosting your event here!“
