“We found Catering by Terrie while searching for local caterers for our unexpectedly rushed wedding. Most catering companies declined the request as the wedding was planned for less than two months away. Terrie not only agreed to work within the limited schedule, but also adapted some of the dishes from her catering menu to accommodate some of our guests with restrictions. Terrie’s team was punctual, polite, and professional. The food was fantastic, and by the end of the evening all the guests were well-fed. Many compliments were received on the charcuterie board, curry noodle bowls, coconut shrimp, chicken parmesan sliders, and many others. Set-up and take-down also went without a hitch. With all of the headache and stress that went into a wedding planned on such short notice, Terrie and her team graciously handled one of the biggest aspects, and helped to make the day as perfect as we could have hoped.“

“I ordered takeout off of grubhub to use a coupon that I had. Problem was, it was Memorial Day. Grubhub showed them as open so I placed the order for a chicken katsu bento box. I get to the place and it's dark inside, but has a doorbell saying to ring for pickup.I do so, and after a minute the owner (Dwayne) comes out and says he's closed. I show him my receipt and he goes in the back to the ticket printer and comes back out and says grubhub says he's open but he's only working a half day. I expect him to tell me to cancel the order but he says he'll make the food but it'll take a few minutes. I say ok and thank him.Maybe 10 minutes go by and he comes out and apologizes for the time mixup (as if I'm not the annoying customer ordering food on a holiday!). The food was great! Bento box was full of a few different items including chicken curry katsu, rice, steamed veggies, California rolls, and shumai and mini vegetable rolls.Really great price and food and I can't thank Dwayne enough for making the food anyway even though I told him I'd just cancel the order. Definitely will be ordering again but on a non-holiday!“

“First visit today, although we live somewhat in the neighborhood and I am already kicking myself for not having got here sooner. Red tabbouleh spicing was very punchy and vivid. Allspice in the stuffed grape leaves make them worth coming back for, not something I think I've ever said about stuffed grape leaves before. Most unforgettable was the red lentil soup with its soft rich velvety texture over two or three layers of different delicious flavors. Great first impression, can't wait to go back, solid A leaning toward A+.“

“I've been meaning to write this review for sometime, because Lisa and her staff absolutely deserve their flowers. We have used Tex's BBQ express for our annual staff cookouts for years. When we send out the invitation one of the first questions that are asked is "are we getting food from Tex's?" The staff are so polite, accommodating, and easy to work with. I am excited to use them each year for annual outings, but their food is so delicious and they make me want to host parties of my own with them on the grill. CANNOT recommend highly enough“

“I used Basil Tree at work for a few small meetings then started using them for a larger weekly conference. The 2nd week everyone was telling me how much they love the sandwiches/wraps and cookies. I bring my own lunch to work 98% of the time so the day of the conference is something I truly look forward to. It has been a real pleasure working with Josh the catering manager. We will be using them for the rest of the year.“

“We just worked with the Catered Affair at the Harvard Art Museums for our September 2024 wedding. Matt Regan, our event producer, really did an outstanding job in every respect! Everything about the reception and dinner was run perfectly and smoothly. The food and drinks were also excellent, as we knew they would be from our tasting. (My dad was still raving about the passionfruit wedding cake days after the wedding.) The staff were incredibly professional and competent. We are just so, so happy with TCA. I ordered a pastrami, egg & cheese sandwich on a roll it was tasty the service was fast and accurate i will have to return for lunch but breakfast was exactly what I wanted.“

The food is great, always good portions and presented so nicely (and tasty too), but the service and attention to detail from the team sets them above and beyond your typical catering service. The packaging is thoughtful and the team is always more than willing to work with you to accommodate your needs and requests. They're perfect for board meetings when I need consistency and on-time delivery but also ideal for a last-minute team lunch. Last week, we held our company picnic and right when the delivery was due, we were hit with torrential downpours and a thunderstorm. When the delivery arrived, the driver was so patient and assured me he wasn't in a rush and waited for the rain to calm down but still made the effort to set up for me in the drizzle. Their newsletters highlight different team members and they have a charitable program where you can donate your rewards point to a food bank if you're a regular customer... “Most don't realize that anyone can eat here. This is a true gem of a cafeteria in the basement of the BU Med student bldg. They serve incredibly great fresh Falafel based dishes and other Mediterranean faire including several vegan options. Absolutely scrumptious. They have a grill with standard various types of burger & fries including delicious vegan burgers. They usually have a variety of fresh soups that includes at least a vegan option. Huge selection of cold drinks in an extensive fridge wall. Anyone can eat here while they are open, but it seems mostly only BMC or BU staff and students are present. Their prices are incredibly affordable and a great value for large satisfying portions.“

The staff, a team of 4, arrived in plenty of time to set things up, decorate, prep the passed appetizers, organize beverages, and get ready.
