“We came for lunch where we were greeted by very friendly staff, the space is a bit dated, as is the old furniture...but the cocktails were excellent, the main course of fried squid and grilled octopus very tasty and delicious and of course the Pinot grigio- Friuli 🥰 you have to try it All in all, high praise for everything and every recommendation“

“Do NOT use the ATM there. The machine says it will charge $3 to make a withdrawal, turns out it charges $5.50 according to my bank statement. Otherwise it's a nice, divey spot that gives a generous amount of popcorn with your drink for free. It's got a room in the back that hosts DIY shows - nothing fancy, but in a charming way. Parking sucks, but that's Brighton for you.“

“Besides the fact that it's an incredible venue for music with a really cool vibe, I had a grain bowl this evening with Farrow, shrimp, kale, toasted chick peas, cucumber, green apples and a delightfuly tangy lemon dressing! For some reason my taste buds detected cheddar cheese... but low and behold it was a dairy free dish! I don't know how you did it you crafty chefs, but my taste buds were devilishly and happily fooled! Since becoming vegan, I miss the taste of cheese! Especially cheddar! Also, The young waitress was very sweet and good at her job.“

“After being let down by a restaurant where we had a reservation, we decided to dine at our hotel instead. A case of good luck in disguise.

We were warmly welcomed by cheerful staff and given a lovely table. Our waiter was absolutely wonderful — incredibly kind, attentive, and considerate throughout the evening.

The food was truly excellent. We chose to put together a three-course menu from the available options, and every dish was spot on.

A lovely place overall — and conveniently located right here at The Westin, where we are staying. Highly recommended.“

“This was my Daughter's birthday weekend and we wanted to Take her to one of the places that Guy Fieri Visited for DDD...making memories. What we got was so much more. Truthfully the Best dining experience we have EVER experienced. The hostess was super friendly and immediately made accommodations due to the fact that I am currently in a wheelchair. The atmosphere was astonishing!!! The food...we truly cannot say enough good things about an are planning when to take the trip from Vermont again to get more. We were blown away . However the highlight of our evening hands down was our Server Kevin!!! He made my Daughter's night ...focused on making her smile and gave her a piece of cheesecake to celebrate. We will remember this forever and simply cannot thank you enough“

“We arrived late to Boston and needed a place to grab a bite. Their kitchen was still open so we ordered some food and drinks. The food and drinks were delish. The atmosphere was fairly lively. It’s a small footprint so having a few groups of people in there made the atmosphere pretty loud. Not a bad thing, just a notable observation. Overall the Franklin Cafe fit our need with good late night food and drinks.“

“We go to Eastern Standard for a nice leisurely meal after a afternoon Red Sox game. Wait staff is attentive and Johnny on the spot when taking and discussing your order. “We went here for dine out Boston. It was a great experience. The staff was very pleasant and we got to try an election for à la carte as well. It wasn’t very crowded and it was nice being able to see the kitchen in action.
We had the bao buns, tuna crudo, bisque and salad for apps. The buns could have had more pork but there were three of them and taste great. The crudo was the breakout star of the apps. Both the salad and bisque were refreshing.
We all got the chicken for appetizer and it was simply superb. The puree and Brussel stouts paired really well with how the chicken breast was cooked.
For dessert we got the chocolate molten cake and blood orange creme burlee. The creme burlee was divine but didn’t go extremely well with the paired crumble and ice cream. The cake on the other hand oozed on the plate and pairs well with the tart strawberry crumble and coffee ice cream. Overall a great dinning experience.
We also got drinks. The white lies was something special at click. Never had a drink like that. Will order again“

“I only had the opportunity to have a single drink here. It was an old fashioned, which is so eady to make, but still usually screwed up. This was definitely a very good one, almost worth the ~$19 price. I will be back.

But speaking of backs, none of the seats have them -- those of us with back problems can't sit comfortably for long. Hence the three stars instead of five on atmosphere.“

“Fabulous evening. I made my reservation a month ago and was surprised when we were seated in a faraway corner on the lower level. We asked to move upstairs and the host gladly accommodated us. Our server was attentive and friendly and made great recommendations. Calamari was a little salty, but everything else was perfect! This is always my favorite pre-ballet spot. A nice espresso martini is just right to stay awake for the rest of the evening!“

“Second time visiting Boston and saw the positive reviews about Harborside Inn and the compliments were completely justified! I arrived after midnight, called in advance to let them know and didn't check in until after midnight, almost 1am. Haley at the front was very welcoming, friendly, and gave me two bottles of Prosecco! What really was really surprising and made my trip very memorable is I booked a windowless room and was very pleasantly surprised that I got upgraded to the window rooms and even more so with the view I was hoping for if I booked the windowsill room! What a beautiful view! Thank you to all the fantastic staff who put in so much great work for the guests. Only issue was there was an unusual smell that I smelled on the elevators and in the lobby thar didn't go away through my trip and the walls were a but too think as I could fully hear the kids and family next to me, but other than that 5/5 highly recommend!! Perfect location and very conventional as the Aquarium T station is right out front!!“
