“Anarosa makes a wide variety of artisan breads. My family loves their cranberry walnut bread. Many people along the northeast seacoast love their breads, so getting to the bakery early is wise for the best selection. They also make fresh pizzas with interesting toppings. The European style pastries are great and fun to try. The physical environment is very unassuming as they are located in a very small strip mall/shopping center. Service was pleasant. *Be prepared as good food and good quality come at a premium price. Sadly, Anarosa is only open limited hours (late week & weekends), so check their website or call to make sure they're open. I don't think you will be disappointed with their products and would strongly recommend not only trying the breads but the European pastries too!!!!“

“We found this wonderful bake shop on line while searching for gluten free Whoopi pies OMG!!! What a find, this place is amazing coupled with amazing friendly staff 😄. The store is warm and inviting and well worth a visit however they do ship and I advise anyone to place an order especially if you suffer from celiac disease and have difficulty finding delicious sweet treats. “I stop here whenever I can. The bagels are fresh and delicious and affordable. With everything so expensive these days, it's so nice to find somewhere to get a coffee and delicious breakfast for an affordable price. They have a great selection of cream cheeses as well!“

““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

“It's bittersweet because the food is great and almost everyone that works there is polite except for the girl that wears the headphones in the pink sweatshirt at the Middleton place. she always has an attitude. she always has a look on her face like I shouldn't be here and I'm better than everybody. never says please never says thank you never responds to you when you say thank you. I will no longer go to this place this has been multiple visits that the lady has been totally unfriendly and I think it makes everyone in the room at that time very uncomfortable. 12.20.24 7:23 AM.“

Note to the first reviewer below: If the cookie is called burnt sugar and fennel shortbread, you certainly should expect to find fennel in the cookie! If you don't want fennel, don't order cookies that have fennel in their names.“

“Today Sandpiper provided the food for my niece’s wedding shower. I can’t say enough about them. Everything was ready when I got there for pick up. The staff were great and very helpful. The guests raved about all the food: croissants, scones (beyond belief!), cinnamon rolls, quiche, salad, cookies, cold brew... Sandpiper scored a bunch of new customers today. We thank them so much!“

“Gluten Free Chocolate Chip cookies! That's the one thing my wife wants me to let you know. We were fortunate to stop here while traveling through. We got a few coffees, crescents (not GF) and cookies. After we drove away my wife started raving about how amazing the GF Chocolate Chip cookies were. She told me several times they were the best she ever had and wished that we had gotten more. I had a bite (even though I love gluten in my cookies) and I have to admit they were great. Thanks for a great treat! My wife's only regret is that we were traveling (11 hours away) and we won't be in the area again to get some more. If you stop by, be sure to eat a GF cookie for her!“

“We started going to the bakehouse 5 years ago today. We have enjoyed this place throughly from the yummy breakfast sandwiches to the fresh bake goods to the always perfect lattes. Today we had them cater my Mom’s 80th Birthday party. They had great suggestions, were very accommodating and had very reasonable prices. Everything was delicious and everyone loved it!! “The bagels here are excellent, and everything there is at a great price point for breakfast food. I enjoy them just as much as Abraham's in Newburyport. I only wish they would open a little sooner. I often get there at 7AM to find it not open yet. Hopefully if they get more business they will want to open earlier.“

“We recently hired Googans to cater for a celebration of life. We kept it simple with a cheese and veggie platter, sandwiches and sweets- finger food. Everything was absolutely delicious! People were raving about how good the sandwiches and desserts were. I absolutely recommend for catering and also to stop in their shop for breakfast and/or lunch. “Colby Farms Sunflower fields are amazing! I went with my husband and granddaughter today. It was surreal! There was an apron of 3 acres of thousands of brightly sunlit sunflowers. I couldn’t have envisioned what we saw…. It was an experience that I couldn’t have ever imagined. We definitely will revisit again. Through the years we have visited the store before and after sunflower weekend and loved everything about it. Loved the produce and found unique little gifts. Lots of photo ops also… at the store, on old tractors and in and around the fields.“
