““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

“Driving past Annarosa’s is a challenge. Multiple times a day, I have to tell myself that I want to lose weight, or that my already high cholesterol will increase if I decide to treat myself to any of their high quality, delicious breads, pastries, or other goodies. More often than not I will walk in, order a large coffee from the friendly staff, and walk out without ever looking at the treats behind the glass. Fortunately, I only have to worry about this challenge three days a week, since they’re only selling their goodies on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday of most weeks. The rest of the week they’re planning, preparing, and baking those goodies for all of us pining for them. Thanks Annarosa’s!“

“We found this wonderful bake shop on line while searching for gluten free Whoopi pies OMG!!! What a find, this place is amazing coupled with amazing friendly staff 😄. The store is warm and inviting and well worth a visit however they do ship and I advise anyone to place an order especially if you suffer from celiac disease and have difficulty finding delicious sweet treats. “We got our first loaf of this bread yesterday from tender crop farm. The man who was advertising this bread was very informative and helpful when we picked our perfect loaf. He was very proud of this company and his wife! He spoke so highly of her and was excited to show off her picture on the top of the bread shelf. Today we grilled the bread, my daughter had hers with Nutella and i had mine with eggs over easy. DELICIOUS. 10/10 recommend. We will try sour dough next!“

“The only place I get lunch at in Newburyport. Everything is so good. Sandwiches are huge. Pastries are incredible. Everyone that works there is always friendly. Rebecca is the best! A top tier Newburyport spot and a must try for visitors. (All the locals already know how incredible middle streets is)“

“It's bittersweet because the food is great and almost everyone that works there is polite except for the girl that wears the headphones in the pink sweatshirt at the Middleton place. she always has an attitude. she always has a look on her face like I shouldn't be here and I'm better than everybody. never says please never says thank you never responds to you when you say thank you. “Colby Farms Sunflower fields are amazing! I went with my husband and granddaughter today. It was surreal! There was an apron of 3 acres of thousands of brightly sunlit sunflowers. I couldn’t have envisioned what we saw…. It was an experience that I couldn’t have ever imagined. We definitely will revisit again. Through the years we have visited the store before and after sunflower weekend and loved everything about it. Loved the produce and found unique little gifts. Lots of photo ops also… at the store, on old tractors and in and around the fields.“

We got a few coffees, crescents (not GF) and cookies. After we drove away my wife started raving about how amazing the GF Chocolate Chip cookies were. She told me several times they were the best she ever had and wished that we had gotten more. I had a bite (even though I love gluten in my cookies) and I have to admit they were great.
