Suya Joint Reviews
Incredible food. We went for a date night and were HIGHLY impressed with the quality and flavor. The waitress was also very friendly and helped us with recommendations since it was our first time there. I wish there was one in Providence!!
The food is good even though my order today was totally different from what I ordered of the same thing a few weeks ago but all in all it’s good customer service could be a little bit better, but it is what it is

Suya Joint is a restaurant serving Nigerian food. The portions are extremely generous, the food is warm and filling. The flavors are loved by customers. The staff are friendly and welcoming. Menu items include vegetarian Samosas, Yucca fries, Suya saucy wings, Plantains, Yessini chicken, Jollof rice and tofu, and 3 stews: Efo Riro (Spinach) stew with Goat, Egusi stew with Beef, and Okra stew with tofu, all with fufu as a swallow. Desserts include guava cheesecake and triple chocolate cake. The chocolate cake is described as the best chocolate cake. There are lots of vegetarian options and many gluten free options. The food is excellent, well balanced, and flavorful. Some customers note the service can be slow or inconsistent, with issues like forgotten drink orders and a lack of table checks. The 20% tip added to the bill is not always clearly marked. One customer observed the owner personally greeting only certain guests, which created an uneven experience. Despite this, many customers return, calling the food genuinely authentic and a staple. The beans are a reason to come back. The restaurant also caters events and accommodates dietary restrictions.
