“The husband and I did an order during their soft open, and it was super good! We have ordered atleast 2-3 more times since the soft open and it's always good! I've tried all their sides, brussels are DELICOUS. Zucchini salad is also VERY good. I do think it has a LOT of almonds, but I could have just gotten a nut heavy scoop, so definitely recommend! We did and sampler platter and the meats are solid. The ribs are THE BEEEEST. pulled pork and brisket is good too. have yet to try the burnt ends, that's my next venture! Overall a great meal. Price wise, it is moderate. price points around the same if not cheaper for most BBQ I've had up here. I'm from the south so prices will never be as cheap as there, but the food, personally, is worth the price.“

“Decided to go out for dinner with a few friends and it was delicious. I liked the citrus dressing on the avocado salad. The filet mignon was tender and flavorful. For dessert, green tea ice cream is a must!“

“Decided to walk through Allston on a grody, misty afternoon and look for some food. Walked in by chance and at my SO’s insistence that we give it a look. I loved everything about the aesthetic, and enjoyed the soft music playing in the background. Being able to choose the ingredients I wanted - knowing they were organic and that they looked more than delicious raw...that was the absolute best part. The gentleman at the front was supremely helpful and answered any question thrown at him - by anyone in the shop. The price was more than worth the amount of food received, and the care extended to us as guests was wonderful. I absolutely would recommend anyone to give this a try. Don’t hesitate to ask a question, you will definitely get an answer. :)“
“Last of the year bbq for our company and it was the Best decision we made to hire Chris and his staff at Big Pig!! Food was outstanding, service was great! Never before has my staff been so complementary to our past functions but this hit it off the charts!! Everyone that attended our bbq were satisfied with everything!! “Blackstrap is my GO TO for bbq, neighborhood vibes, live music, darts, etc. The staff is so fun, the food and drinks are amazing, it’s comfortable and chill but you still get great service and food/drink. The owners are super hands on and always there, and are such nice and cool people. Definitely recommend, especially for their live music nights! Nothing else like it around here!“

“Went in this evening with family and friends. The food was absolutely delicious. I enjoyed steak tips with rice and it was impeccable. The service was outstanding, the atmosphere has changed a lot (same great vibes) which I love. Charlie is such a kind and caring human. He’s always been a love! “We celebrated my wife’s Birthday last month and we had a great time with my family.
We had never been to a BBQ place like this before so we had no clue what to do.
Our waitress was very helpful and answered every question we had and explained what was going to happen and how it would work with the food.
Needless to say everything went smoothly and we had a great time.“

“We went looking for Barbecue International and found out it was changed to Himalayan Kitchen. First timers and we ran into the owner who was super nice. We had the chicken pakoras, chicken tika masala lunch, garlic naan and beef chilli. Honestly favorite restaurant in Somerville now, definitely going to be regulars here. Everything was spiced perfectly and was amazing. 10/10 perfect comfort food and also good day food. Really happy we stopped by.“

“this is sooooo good, every bite of meat is soft and tender and the biscuits looked mediocre, but tasted perfect. They even thawed out the butter instead of giving me a frozen lump like 99% of restaurants. I will go out of my way to eat here again!“

“Coming from the south, I view BBQ a bit differently and I’m always on the hunt for something in New England that gives me that feeling of home. Well, this place is it! I dare anyone to find better ribs for the money you pay here! Fall off the bone ribs with just enough bite. The sauce is the perfect blend of tangy and sweet. This country boy will be back soon!

“first time eating at K-Town after work in a Friday, absolutely amazing food, everything I expected it was. good food, amazing music (BTS!!!!!!), absolutely amazingly polite, helpful, personable staff, huge variety of meat and seafood to BBQ. the service is impeccable, the served really care about the experience you have. every single server came by to help us, talk with us, and check on us. I can’t wait to come back, this may be my new favorite place. 1000 stars“
