Great venue for the Porch Party Mamas show!!!!
The Bull Run has been a known quantity to me since childhood.. I grew up in Shirley. So when it came time to memorialize my Dad who had passed, I did so in Shirley and got the Bull Run to cater it. Start to finish they were awesome.. advising how to estimate the amount of people and how much food to put out, what kind of food, all the trappings of tablecloth, cutlery etc.. all taken care of. Bull Run Restaurant is a fantastic spot that offers a unique experience. The event space is very nice, with a cozy atmosphere reminiscent of a tavern, especially in the 1700 tavern area with working fireplaces. The staff is friendly and long-time, providing excellent service. The restaurant features plenty of seating inside and outside, and has a vintage, rustic look that many find beautiful. The food is delicious, with dishes like fried calamari, shrimp and scallop scampi, and seafood stuffed haddock prepared to perfection. They also serve impressive turkey dinners and seasonal soups and drinks, with all ingredients sourced from local farms. The restaurant often hosts local music talent, creating a lively and enjoyable environment. The Fireside setting in fall and winter, with fires going, is particularly popular. The price is a bit pricey but considered fair for the quality, fresh, locally sourced food. The pleasant atmosphere, good sound quality, and intimate seating make it an ideal place to enjoy live music, celebrate special occasions, or simply relax with friends.
