“Went last night with my family for dinner. We got a variety of options - the scallop hibachi, Godzilla sushi roll, general tsos chicken. Everything was yummy! The scallop hibachi came with at least 10 huge scallops that were all flavorful and well worth the money. Sushi was fresh. Great family atmosphere. We sat at a dining table (not hibachi) and our server was very attentive and efficient. Overall great experience and I will be back.“
“We have been coming here every year for the last 15 years. Love the place. It's quiet, spacious, food is always great, and the service is very friendly. The lady server/manager remembers us and our kids since they were little. Like the family!“
“A delightful experience. The ramen is outstanding, my favorite is the spicy tonkotsu ramen with chashu pork. Exceptional customer service with a warm greeting and attentive staff. A hidden gem offering yummy food. Definitely deserves a visit!“
“Went here with a friend who claimed it to have "the best sushi in town." I was NOT DISAPPOINTED. Every roll we got blew my mind with the delicious factor, and the two cocktails we got were beyond tasty as well.It was understandably busy on a Friday night, and our food still came out in a reasonable time. It's worth looking into whether they accept reservations if you don't want to wait in line (though, the wait would be worth it!)“
“First time dining at Sake Hana and I was pleasantly surprised by the freshness and quality of the sushi. The sashimi was beautifully sliced with shiso leafs, and generous amounts of daikon radish. I tried the Amazing Roll and the Sake Hana roll. Both were delicious, but the Amazing roll came out on top with sweet pieces of mango complimenting a savory tempura crunch. The restaurant is small but spacious with tables and booths for dining. The service was efficient. The menu is pricey with specialty rolls over $20, but I think that's typical for most sushi places serving good quality fish. Sake Hana is definitely a place I'll be trying again.“
“This was my second time here and it's great. The sushi is phenomenal and everything I've tried so far I've enjoyed. Great selection of Saki, Japanese Whiskey, and the sparkling water by the bottle is refreshing. I would recommend trying if you like Japanese food. A hidden gem right in downtown Worcester.“
“I took my mother here with the family fir ger 82nd birthday and ordered a Tekadon regular sallery man's dinner my mom's favorite- Hamachi half Teka (Tuna and yellowtail rice bowl) not on the menu we lived in Japan so this is a traditional Japanese dish that is not difficult to make for a regular sushi chef. They made it with no gripes as it should be. This is possibly the best sushi I've had outside of Japan. If you can get a seating here go enjoy everything was good. The staff and service was fine. The chef was actually Japanese. The prices were fair. Will come again and often. This is Everything sushi should be plus those fancy American maki rolls you have come to know and love here that have made Sushi so popular around the world.“
“Honestly, I’ve been going to this restaurant since the week it opened. I judged it at first but still gave it a chance to my satisfaction. I’ve been going for about a year and a half now and every time they’ve cook amazing food. I usually don’t leave reviews but they been on point every time gotta show love.“
“Our first time here and I highly recommend! Not only were they kid friendly- the staff was always very courteous and accommodating. The sushi chefs were wonderful and very kind to our children by making them a cooked sushi dish for my son because he wanted to try sushi for the first time. We all thoroughly enjoyed everything!! Thank you!“
“Today my wife and I celebrated 6 years of marriage and decided to go to our favorite restaurant: Yama Zakura. They continue with the quality of food and impeccable service. We were attended by the charismatic Nick, very attentive! Upon learning that it was our wedding anniversary, the chef, Clay (very nice and kind guy), came to greet us and give us a wonderful "gift", a Dragon Breath, which everyone should taste, is spectacular.Food is outstanding, drinks too! Deserts are absurdly good!I could give ten stars!!Nick and Clay, thank you very much for the amazing experience! See y’all next time!“
“The food and service is always amazing. The hibachi chicken is one of my faves! I also love the pickled veg. It is one of my faves. The restaurant is always clean and while I normally get the food to go, i would eat inside if it were an option.“
“I am a big fan of Oishi Japanese Restaurant. Located right on Main Street, this place has plenty of parking options ranging from parking lots to street parking. The outside decoration and signage were well crafted giving off a very polished vibe. The interior is beautifully decorated with plenty of seats that can accommodate large parties to intimate dinners. The service is very fast and the wait staff is very friendly. I ordered the hibachi chicken and salmon which came up around $18. The plate and portions were massive. I loved the sweet teriyaki and savory egg fried rice. We also ordered chicken wings, which were absolutely bomb. Juicy and crispy just like they should be. I was very impressed with my dine-in experience! Check them out if you're in the area!“
“Food was alright, there were a lot of options on the menu and the prices were not bad at all. Service was friendly and quick, but i just did not like how when i asked for a drink i was brought a small cup with mostly ice, and they charged for a refill! Overall it's a cool place.“
“I’m giving five stars for the service, the food, and the cocktails. We each got Chinese combo dishes, and everything tasted quite delicious. The sesame chicken was the best I’ve had since our favorite place closed in Bellingham over 20 years ago (and the next best thing in Upton started raising prices and lowering quality). Spring rolls also made a very good impression. My Mai Tai and my son’s martini were on point, rounding out the consumables. The host/bartender/sushi roller was on his game, keeping everything humming along without breaking stride. His colleague, the hostess/waitress/phone answerer was so nice, managing to smile through the noise and endless food and drink orders. Now a word of warning: If you cannot block out loud, drunk townies who just can’t get enough of their Keno and beer, bring earplugs! We were there on a Sunday around maybe 6 pm and the crowd was at full volume. I’ve seldom seen such a lack of self-awareness (never mind self control) concentrated in one place! We ate and escaped before the regulars downed their last drinks, staggered out to their cars and weaved their way home. Brutal…“
“Good food and value and entertainment.. The hibachi 'show' is one and done. After seeing a couple of chefs with the same shtick, sure, entertaing but repetitive. Had Filet mignon. Strange. Couldn't tell the difference between preparing steak for patrons to preparing the filet mignon. In other words, just get the steak.“
“Lunch Hibachi Steak and Chicken combination. Vegetable Hibachi option. Steak and Shrimp Hibachi. All wasbcooked correctly and it whats nice. We went as a group.Vegetarian options: For the Hibachi they have a vegetables only plate.Parking: Plenty of parking spaces.“
“We did the hibachi side and if you have had this before it is pretty standard, the food was good, we had sushi for starters. If you have not, well it's like a cooking show, for the people sitting around the flat top. It's more fun when you have fun people in your group.“
“My husband i frequent here as it's right up the road from the house, lovely atmosphere and courteous staff the food is beyond delicious and always surprises us. Highly recommend that you go during lunch if you want quiet otherwise during dinner expect it to get loud from the people getting drunk at the bar at the end of their day.“
“I've always loved the Cheng Du growing up in Westborough-my reviews are based on accessibility for mobility impaired individuals and they do have a place to pull up out front and it looks like a formal restaurant where is drive and it has a ramp (although the ramp is rather long) once inside the physical restaurant it's difficult to maneuver especially if you have a wheelchair but the staff are wonderful and I might suggest that if this is a larger party you call ahead to share the informationII have fond memories of my father and I going to pick up the "pu poo'(?) platter at the Honolulu( RIP), Dad would get me a "Shirley Temple"( non-alcohol cocktail) and he would have a beer waiting at the bar. We would THEN go to the Cheng Du to get the mushi chicken ( their BEST DISH BY FAR!)those are the issues I have and they could be corrected within a week! ??“
“Old fashioned Asian bistro and great sushi in the area with welcoming staffs and great services always!Been here sometimes and see lots locals here in the restaurant who enjoy so much of the atmosphere. Great place to come at any time for sure!Parking: Large parking lot, love this placeKid-friendliness: Kids got chocolate milk and all, super friendly for large families!!“
“Have been here with my family 3 times in the last 6 months. Every time the service is amazing, as they are all friendly and welcoming! Drinks are good, not too strong, but not weak either. Food is well prepared and delicious, I can never finish! They will even give you extra yum yum sauce to take home for the kid that loves it! This place is our go too for hibachi as they never disappoint!“
