Two days earlier, we tried to book a bowling lane online because of the rain forecast, but the website wouldn’t let us, even though we kept getting texts saying there was availability. When I called, they said reservations could only be made online but guaranteed that a lane would be available by 12:30 if we came at 11:30. I was impressed with the efficiency and thoughtfulness of the service. We were a group of eight. All throughout, people--not just our server--would show up to take care of things before we asked for them. \n\nFor example, we were seated around a sort of banquette, three long bench seats around a table.
