Place is an old-school family owned diner and I've been missing them, was a trip back to my childhood haunts in PA. I was a bit delicate after a wedding the night before, the linguica roll was an absolute reviver. I wish I was in the area longer to eat there again, it was that good!“

“My wife and I have eaten at Villa Verde on several occasions and have never had a disappointing meal! The service is always fast , accommodating and courteous. The food is plentiful, delicious, and reasonably priced. (It's like eating in a Portuguese kitchen). We live several miles away but always place an order of our favorites for pick up at Christmas! Betty, the owner and cook, is one of the nicest people you will ever meet. The only complaints I have is: (1) they are only open Sat. and Sunday, and (2) they aren't closer because I would eat there constantly ! (Maybe limited hours and distance is a good thing!)“

“My husband and I visited the restaurant for the first time last night, selecting two different steak plates each. The cuisine was exceptional, with fresh, high-quality ingredients used throughout. The steak was cooked to perfection, the round cut fries were outstanding, and the rice was soft and freshly cooked. We were impressed by the culinary experience. The staff's attentive, friendly service contributed to our positive experience. We intend to dine there again. Our gratitude to Chef Cabral and staff for their warm hospitality. “SOOOO THOROUGHLY disappointed in our most recent experience at The Roasted Pig. We went to dinner last night and arrived at 7. The floor was super sticky, almost as if it had beer spilled all over ot and someone forgot to clean the floor.. We ordered rotisserie chicken and Carne De Espeto (WELL DONE)... we were told the chicken would be 45 minutes. Our dinners came to us at 8:20. 1 hour and 20 minutes is NOT 45. The Carne de Espeto was RED and dripping. I asked for it well done.. so they took it back to re-grill. When it came back, it was STILL FAR TOO PINK for my liking (I can eat it medium, but rare makes me gag). The server apologized and I said I'd just cook it at home... When we got the bill it was $119 BEFORE tip. My kid had gotten Pepsi, with a TON of ice... and asked for a refill. Well, apparently refills aren't a thing. We got charged $10.50 for his soda. There was no compensation for the food I wasn't eating and they never even offered to fix it or bring me something else. said and done I paid $145 to not even eat my dinner. I will likely never return here of my own accord, which is awful because until last night, I would literally say they were my favorite restaurant. I don't know whats happened to make it so crappy but thr food was bland in flavor and not prepared to our order...“

“went here yesterday Friday 13 2026. for breakfast got the Portuguese Mozambique Benny breakfast and my husband got the Portuguese steak breakfast. the breakfast was phenomenal best Portuguese food around the area for sure. it was so fresh so delicious I highly highly highly recommend coming here for some of the best food , ive had dinner here before too and that was outstanding, great prices. outstanding food and such a cute clean cozy atmosphere. the waitresses were very attentive too. all around 10 out of 10“

From the steak which is prepared so juicy to the seafood that comes out perfect with flavor exploding in your mouth!
