While the atmosphere isn't overly creative, it is simple and bright, which further allows the food to shine. We ordered jasmine green tea with and without sweetener, both were delicious and piping hot. The scallion pancakes were fantastic, not overly greasy, and dusted with a delicious sweet sour spice mix. The noodle soup was warm and slippery, congee wet and flavorful, and the oyster pancake was crispy and fluffy. The textures and flavors didn't disappoint and I'd happily return for another meal. The menu is simple and without detailed descriptions, but once you know the dish, say congee, it's easy to make choices from options offered. My MIL struggled with lack of familiarity with many of the dishes, but happily tried something new when given an explanation. She raved about her tea and immediately went to the store to find a dupe, it wasn't comparable to the beverage served in house“

“I have been going here a few times a month for the past couple years and I can definitely say it’s a great spot. Good portions, good quality, and as far as take out prices go I actually think it’s really reasonable. I get a large sub, large fry, and a drink most of the time and it comes out to about $15. Also they have great customer service. Highly recommend this spot it’s a kind of a hidden gem in the area.“

“Fair prices and lots of variety on the menu. Gyro meal 5.50 and Spicy chicken meal 6.50 always satisfy. Saw the steak and cheese which is huge and only 7 .50 and I'll be trying that next time. The cold ham and provolone grinder I got had super soft, fresh bread which is so hard to find these days! Most places use old bread and I’m always disappointed. I recently visited Chester's Chicken at Shamrock Market and had an absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment I took my first bite of the fried chicken sandwich, I was blown away by the delicious, crispy perfection. The flavors were incredible, and the chicken was juicy and tender, creating a perfect combination that had me saying "wow" with every bite.

The service was top-notch as well. My order arrived quickly, and the server was incredibly respectful and attentive. The fast delivery ensured my meal was hot and fresh, making the whole experience even better. Chester's Chicken at Shamrock Market has definitely earned a loyal customer in me – I can't wait to come back for more!

“DP Dough has fit their intended niche perfectly: good food at a great price with truly late business hours (until 2/3 am!!). A perfect combination for college students.

I ordered it through their website, which was a little quirky but great overall. It was cool they had so many premade options, but a little odd that translated into a small selection of toppings for the build your own. I have had my fair share of delivery from different restaurants and services, as well as to different locations, over the years. This is the first that came to my lobby entrance (and one proven to be tricky at that!) and the second to bring hot food. Ever. I didn’t even have to microwave it. A lovely employee called ahead and handed it to me. It was freezing and almost midnight, but she made the journey with a smile on her face. Very quick delivery too.

I got the cheese stix and spinner zone without spinach. They saw my note about no spinach and it was easy to make, which I really appreciate. The marinara sauce was smidge sweet, but barely noticeable. Most importantly, it was warm! No one wants cold marinara cups, so thank you!! Also they were generous with the sauce. Huge kudos for that. They stuffed a lot of stuff into that calzone, I’m impressed. Overall it was a little bland, but I did pick a bland option. The cheese stix were flavorful even without the garlic sauce, and were incredibly tasty. Definitely getting them again!

Not only was the price for the food good, the fees were noise, a $3 fee and a $1 tax. $22 for a meal at midnight and 2-3 meal’s worth of leftovers! It is so nice not having fees as much as the food itself. They are also in perfect boxes for putting in a minifridge.

I’m adding them to my rotation. Easy.
