We held an event at the Bass River golf course restaurant on 6/10/23 for a party of 40. The restaurant is now run by CHG Catering with their home office in East Windsor, CT. We rented their outdoor patio with its lovely water view. Our clambake buffet luncheon included chowder, lobsters, sirloin tips, netted steamers & mussels with sausage, coleslaw, muffins, and dessert. The food was excellently prepared, delicious. Sitting outside is the way to go. Beer, great food and great view!
It was nice to visit a clubhouse that was looked and felt like it was built for golfers coming off the course. The staff was all star and prepared for us when we walked in the door for the first time and right after 18. The view is unbelievable! Food and service was fantastic. Highly recommended and will return soon

Bass River Grill, located at the golf course clubhouse, is managed by CHG Catering. The outdoor patio offers a lovely water view, perfect for events. The clambake buffet luncheon, including chowder, lobsters, sirloin tips, and more, was excellently prepared and delicious. The friendly staff and onsite manager ensured a pleasant experience. While not inexpensive, attendees were pleased with the service and food quality. The clubhouse ambiance, fantastic food, and top-notch service make it highly recommended for events or casual visits.
