Worst place I’ve ever worked. Thank you Marc for not knowing how to run anything OSHA violations. Stolen tips. Unclean work conditions. No bandaids. No soap. After working for many restaurants in my years I tried to tell them the correct and sanitary way of cleaning the bar and the items at the bar. They did not and continued not to listen. Instead, they took my shifts from me, leaving me with 1-2 days a week because I spoke up. I almost got fired for speaking up.
We held an event at the Bass River golf course restaurant on 6/10/23 for a party of 40. The restaurant is now run by CHG Catering with their home office in East Windsor, CT. We rented their outdoor patio with its lovely water view. Our clambake buffet luncheon included chowder, lobsters, sirloin tips, netted steamers & mussels with sausage, coleslaw, muffins, and dessert. The food was excellently prepared, delicious. Bass River Grill, located at the golf course clubhouse, is managed by CHG Catering. The outdoor patio offers a lovely water view, perfect for events. The clambake buffet luncheon, including chowder, lobsters, sirloin tips, and more, was excellently prepared and delicious. The friendly staff and onsite manager ensured a pleasant experience. While not inexpensive, attendees were pleased with the service and food quality. The clubhouse ambiance, fantastic food, and top-notch service make it highly recommended for events or casual visits.
