The food has never been bad there. We used to eat there all the time (almost everyday) when we lived nearby. We love the people who own/run the place, and it still is my favorite. The restaurant is filled with typical chinese artwork and culture. Great place to sit down or order take-out.
So I don’t usually do this, as a chef…I think people who don’t understand food give bad reviews.. with that said.. I eat Chinese food from China..IMO the Asians are culinary genius’.. so, I always order.. Beef Chow Fun in American Chinese restaurants.. marinated beef, wide rice noodles, scallions and thin white.onions and bean sprouts.. when done rite , it’s … idk.. the best tasting and texture dish. I have not had good luck with Chinese take-out over the last few years. I read the reviews for Hong Kong Garden and they were positive so I thought I would give it a try. I'm so glad I did!I ordered house fried rice, boneless spareribs and pork lo mein. Everything was delicious! The pork was so tender. The homemade duck sauce, which is brown in color, was so good.I'm so happy that I ordered from them and will definitely do so again.
