“this public House feels like a public home. there is a great community of regular customers who are really nice people. they offer a full bar and food. there is an outdoor area with great ambiance and games. they have a lot of fun weekly activities like karaoke and live music. they also just got in a new pool table with beautiful new cloth and balls. I myself don't actually drink anymore so I don't spend a lot of money when I go there but I am treated like I am important, welcome and wanted. this is a great place to hang out. this is a real review. I don't work for this place in any capacity. I found it a couple of months ago and I'm glad that I did.“

“Pizza is just getting better it was terrible for a while but the last few months best ever. Whoever improved and made it the way we always have known thank you. We have been having this pizza since way back in the 80’s when it was at the railroad station when every pizza was perfect. Glad too see that same quality again. “5 STAR TREATMENT!!! We had my husbands surprise birthday party there last night for 40 guests and it went off without a hitch! Jim the manager went out of his way to check all the little details that make an event special from custom menus to an easel for a sign. The waitstaff was wonderful and accommodating! “Listen the only reason I can see someone leaving a bad review is if you got your butt kicked in a game of connect four against the bartender and your salty about it. Honestly the food and drink is on point! Especially the chicky tendies and shoestring French fries! Every food item I have ate has been fantastic though. Sam, Kim and everyone involved are great. I am assuming any negative reviews are from patrons who caused the problem. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Highly recommend! I regularly commute from Roslindale to patron this establishment for good food, good vibes and amazing experience! Thank you to the entire Four Square team for always being a welcoming, friendly and great place to frequent!“

“Really good food and the waitresses are super cool and nice! The chef the waitress take a picture of how he does the spicy cucumbers (so good)! Everything I ordered was great, the lobster fried rice, salt & pepper wings & spicy cucumbers. Only thing I would suggest is more rice with the lobster fried rice. Besides that my time was excellent!“

“Ballast is always consistent. It is a hidden-gem in Quincy. The Ballast Burger is absolutely fantastic and $9 deal on Tuesdays. The service is always A+ from start to finish. Overall, a really solid spot that I enjoy going back to and recommend to anyone looking for a great burger and top-notch service.“

“Food was great the view is phenomenal the only thing I did not like Is the fact we had a reservation for a table for 5 And the waiter could only accommodate a table of 4 with the 5 th on the side facing the wall For this reason I give it a 3 star passing note fair enough I think“

“Absolutely LOVE the chili! Sooo delicious 🤗 The best! I am specifically referring to the Quincy location, not Norwell (the chili there is horrible). I’ve been eating at the Quincy location for many years. The staff is great, and the bar and dining area are comfortable. My only complaint: At times, the air fresheners or cleaning products used in the ladies’ room are too strong. A different product (preferably unscented) would be better. It’s not pleasant to smell such overpowering chemicals before or after a meal. Parking is what you’d expect for Quincy… limited street parking, but there is a garage behind The Fours.“

“Great seafood boils, great fried seafood and excellent accompaniments. We tried the crab claws, shrimp, corn, sausage, potatoes, mussels, crayfish and broccoli, the seafood boil type items I just lister were delicious. The seasonings not only tasted fantastic they tasted like they were proprietary or made from a homemade recipe. We tried steamed oysters, fried catfish, calamari, hush puppies and chicken fingers and those were absolutely amazing. Great place and we highly recommend. Definitely will be going back. Oh they’ve got a bar. The atmosphere was chill.“

“Had breakfast here. The building architecture blew my mind. Thick old fashioned adornments round the interior doors were astonishing. Booths seemed to have come from a prohibition era bar. Chandeliers with soft lighting complimented the atmosphere. Can only imagine the feels come night time. Food was good, walked up to the window & told them so before leaving. If you're into Bloody Mary's, their house mix was nothing to write home about. Plenty of parking available & if you feel unsafe to drive, rent a room at the lovely Seacoast Inn across the street.

“I went here for a Birthday party. It was on the second floor. When getting there I noticed it was an old building and it needed work. However when I went inside it was nice. It was clean and it had a new floor. It was a large space. There was a small bar and the bartender was friendly. The only problem I had was the strong smell of smoke. There was no one smoking there so I assume it is coming from the first floor .“
