“What a great night! We thought we were going to a fundraiser, but after checking the ticket it’s next month🤦🏼‍♀️ So since we were ready for a night out we ventured to Swampscott to check out G Bar! Reservations highly encouraged, but our timing worked out perfectly and we got two seats at the bar! Had a delicious meal starting with crispy shrimp with sriracha, lemon garlic aioli, cilantro then we shared a Caesar salad, lightly dressed and not too garlicky and had Wasabi tuna and NY Strip steak for our entrees! Yummo!! Patrons were so nice, as was all the staff! Andrew was a great bartender and seemed to know everyone there! Great vibe, great food! “We got the muffuletta sandwich and it was SPECTACULAR! It was a new sandwich for us…the bread was perfectly paired to the style of sandwich and fresh. The meats and cheese were delicious and the olive garnish and herbs enhanced this unique taste experience. We took the sandwich to go but the restaurant was clean and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly and fast service.“

“The food on offer looked very tasty. I had the egg sandwich with salmon and their tatte house latte. The sandwich was very tasty but a little messy to eat. The latte was honey, halva and cardamom flavoured which was very pleasant and different. Overall I enjoyed my time there except when I was approached by a person asking for money and had to pack up and leave to avoid confrontation :(“

“Went here for some snacks during my visit. Not a huge selection on the baked goods but good enough variety that it didn't bother me. I went here because it was a gluten free option and I need that for my allergies. I had a red velet cupcake, and a sweet heavy cake plus a fruity pebbles rice crispy treat my husband had a cookie but he didn't care for it but I loved everything I had! He did loved my fruity pebbles treat! It looks so clean in here and the service was nice the guy at the register was fast and pleasent! I highly recommend you stop here if you need gluten free treats!

“We had a fabulous lunch here this past weekend. Best food ever! Thankfully, we also brought home several pastas and sauces. Tonight, we cooked up the jumbo cheese ravioli and tossed them with some of the incredible pesto sauce. It was absolutely delicious! Paired with a simple salad and a glass of wine, I felt like we had brought a bit of the North End home with us. Can’t wait to get back to enjoy another meal and pick up more goodies for our freezer! “I was in Boston for a business trip and one of my colleagues happened to stumble upon Tatte. He raved about the coffee and the pastries, so I had to try it. I ordered a coffee and the raspberry, pistachio tart.
It was amazing! The coffee was incredible. Rich, smooth, flavorful. Not too hot to drink. It’s everything you imagine a high end coffee should be.
The tart was delicious. Full of flavor, not overly flakey. Just perfect.
This will be my go to spot on my next trip to Boston.“

“I didn’t hear about this place until I saw people walking around with boxes. I decided to go check them out. There were about 100 people waiting in line when I arrived. The line moved fairly quickly. It was cash only, but you can order online in advance so I chose to do that. The pasties themselves were nothing special, canollis were not fresh, donut was stale. There are better pasties in Boston, not worth the wait.“

“I ordered my daughters 6th birthday cake from La Casa Del Pandebono and it literally the best experience I’ve ever had with any business. Not only was the custom cake beautiful and delicious, they provided a level of exceptional customer service that I didn’t even know existed. The “Tangled” cake included a beautiful edible gold crown as it’s center piece, and it was packaged separately. Despite my best efforts to handle it carefully, I accidentally broke it the night before the birthday party. I texted the owner asking if he has recommendations for me to reassemble it (knowing it was unlikely, but I was desperate). He immediately responded and asked for my address, letting me know he’d deliver a new one when he closed the store (I live in another town). I was shocked at his generosity and beyond grateful. As an expression of gratitude, a sent him an additional tip which he politely attempted to reject (I wouldn’t allow it…haha). In return, he delivered not only the grown, but an order of birria tacos and an empanada (which I was admiring when I went to pick up the cake) - literally the best tacos I’ve ever had. I cannot emphasize how touched I was by this experience. La Casa Del Pandebono is a rare gem - baked goods that are truly a work of art, and incredible food that is only surpassed by the unbelievable customer service. I will be a customer for life.“

And I need to try a loaded croissant. They were busy but my only complaint is still just how long we waited for our food. Even our drinks too. It was like table service restaurant wait times. “I’m from Texas and this has been hands down, one of the best restaurants/ bars that I can recommend. We have stopped at multiple places, enjoying incredible food and drinks… but none have matched this place. Not only are the drinks amazing, the food incredible.. (which I highly recommend the Choco Frito being the most tender and flavorful octopus that you will taste. I promise you will never have anything else like it.) but more importantly has been the staff here! Entirely welcoming, friendly and treat you immediately as family. ““Pure Pastry” was highly recommended by “Cakes for Occasions” because they couldn’t make a Vegan cake. So I called and asked Kim to make my son who is a Vegan an all Vegan birthday cake. We were all pleasantly surprised at how delicious and moist his chocolate cake was with vanilla cream frosting with strawberries in the middle and on top was. Five people ate this cake and we all loved the taste. It looked beautiful too. Another thing I also love about this bakery is the cake box. The cake fit in the box very nicely and on the top you could see the cake through a see through film which was an elegant touch. My son’s cake was so good that I had to order a Vegan strawberry vanilla cake for my birthday too. I can’t wait to get it. Kim is so very friendly and such a nice person and she is very easy to get a hold of on the phone. I very highly recommend Kim and “Pure Pastry” for all of your pastry needs.“

“Was the first place we ate during out first trip to Boston, and was just a good, solid sandwich to have after traveling all day. There was not one weakness in that sandwich. The onion rings were pipping hot, crispy, and BIG. If we ever make it back to this area we will definitely stop by.“

“This is Tatte #4 for me on my quest to visit them all and try a kuign Amann at each. Parking was a little rough and this one doesn’t have the abundance of floor to ceiling windows that some of the others do but I loved the industrial vibe and all of the windows into the giant kitchen where you could see all of the pastry being made. A nice display, though not as good as the one at assembly Square, but lots of space and different kinds of seating.“

“This was one if the best pastrami sandwiches I've had. Normally pastrami I've had from the deli is thinly sliced, this was more like chopped brisket, but had all the flavor of deli pastrami, it was great. If your hungry don't be cheap, get the half pound sandwich. I did light rye, deli mustard but only did 1/3 pound, should have gone half. The 1/4 pound wouldn't be enough for most folks. Great customer service and great simple sandwich.“

“Lovely hot pot place. The sauces are pretty simple--soy sauce and all the garlic/spring onion you could wish for. The assorted mushrooms were so good and fresh. We had three broths--tomato and beef, szechuan spicy, and chinese herbal--all very good. Very good quality tuna from the raw bar, and previously I've had excellent sake from here.“

“Went during a Saturday lunch and it was very quiet inside. I'm guessing it's noisier during dinner. My wife's gluten free pasta was the best she ever had and did not get ill, and the fried peppers were clean as well. My regular pasta and dish were very fresh and incredibly good. “SO GOOD! This is one of our favorite local takeout spots and we can’t get enough of it. It’s the kind of food you could eat every day for the rest of your life and you’d still be amazed how good it is every time you eat it. Just insanely fresh ingredients -especially the fish- and sauces that will change your mind on ingredients you didn’t even think you liked. I don’t usually like mayo and I could eat their pineapple aeoli by the spoonful. My girlfriend and I have tried all the different proteins and still can’t pick a favorite but we always add the garlic edamame salad and avocado with sesame seeds and black lava salt sprinkled on top.“
