“First time in yesterday. Food was terrific, atmosphere is casual and fun .. a bit of a Key West vibe maybe. Bar and tables are equally good. (We like sitting at a bar, but we would be happy with the tables here. That's not always the case with us.). Super friendly service. One of those great local finds that we're always looking for. We'll be back for sure.Photos don't to justice to the food. Fresh cod tacos and pulled pork. Not you average pub grub by any measure.“
“Just had literally (and I hate using that word) the best bbq of my life here (as takeout) today.Met Doug who was relaxed, very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and obviously proud of this business. When he said I just walked into the best bbq place in New England, something about the way he said it gave me instant confidence. Not uppity or verbose, but from a standpoint of a dude about to hook you up righteously. The pork belly was so incredibly good and I’ve had it in many places including some heavyweight backyard bbq-ers and this belly here was light years better. The pit beef was done very well and like everything else I ordered wasn’t hammered with smoke, rather it was subtly flavored and the au jus was a very good way to keep it moist and tender..which it was.Even the pulled chicken which can easily be like a ground up dish towel was moist and flavor well. The brisket was also probably the best I’ve had as was the pulled pork. And I thought not having traditional corn bread would be a detractor but turns out the cornmeal pancakes are a very good choice. Different and good (what could go wrong with honey butter?)Yeah I ordered a lot, do t judge me..lest ye be judged.I have no reason to drive to Commonwealth BBQ any longer. Thank the good lord.I’m just sorry I didn’t get more pork belly.Thank you. Be back soon and often.“
“Food is good but Natalia behind the bar is Great! She always greets you with a friendly hello and remembers your name. She is very personable and makes you feel very comfortable . Always remembers what I drink and how I want my wings. Hopefully Management realizes what a Great Team Member she is the reason most people keep coming back“
“Tom and his crew made our wedding reception amazing !! The food was ABSOLUTELY great and flavorful . They were on time and just great guys all around .Tom was responsive to any questions at any time during our planning .Highly recommend Tazz’s BBQKim & Chuck 9/24/22“
“Amazing! The food was awesome and fresh! I was shocked with how affordable it was, too! They don't have drink carriers, which isn't a big deal at all, but the employee brought them to my car for me. That's top-tier service if you ask me! Will be back again!“
“This is one of .. if not .. THE BEST Latin food trucks around!!! I follow them to where ever they go when I’m craving some empanadas..tacos.. or rice bowls… and there sliders are awesome too! Let’s say I’m a bit of a fan boy. It’s well worth it! Definitely worth the try. You won’t regret it! And it’s priced fair too! Ps…it taste just as good on the next day when you have left overs too! ?“
“I meant to take a picture of my food and forgot. I stopped here on a whim during my workday - first open place I saw at lunch time. It was fantastic! I had pulled pork that didn't need sauce (though I added a little just to taste that as well), probably the best mac and cheese I've had at a place like this, and excellent cornbread. The food cam out quickly and the people working (I believe the owner and his daughter?) were friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a quick, quality, affordable meal, don't skip this place. I hope work brings me down to this area again soon!“
“Wife and I decided to try Ed's for the first time today . OMG amazing food from the Baby Back Ribs right down to the chocolate chip brownie. We ordered a little bit of everything to really try it . The brisket , pulled pork , and baby back ribs were some of the best we've ever had . We will be back . Highly recommended. If you really want good BBQ give Ed's BBQ a try .“
“I've spent a fair amount of time living in the South, and with that came a taste for good BBQ. When I moved back to New England I missed being able to find BBQ on ever corner. And whenever I did find a spot the food was marginal at best. When I heard Dunny's was bringing BBQ to their place I can't say that I was excited about it, the years of let down didn't have me with high expectations. Well last night we decided to give it a shot. The food was absolutely perfect! I ordered a combo plate that consisted of (2) ribs, pulled chicken and brisket. Included were two sides, I chose Mac & cheese and fries. Also standard meals come with slaw and cornbread. We sat at the bar, service was prompt and friendly. The food came to us being halfway thru our drinks. We were offered three different choices for BBQ sauces, we asked for all three. The food arrived hot and the bartender provided us with extra napkins.... it's BBQ! Everything on my plate was very tasty and cooked perfectly. I've experienced places that do one or two items great, but then ruin the meal with something so far off base it was disappointing. One of the signs of well smoked and cooked ribs is "fall off the bone. Well I picked up the first rib and was left holding just the bone. Honest to God the meat remained on the plate! The texture and taste was that of what you'd eat in rural North Carolina. The pulled chicken was a first for me. Basically breast meat shredded simmered in a unique BBQ sauce, it was really good. The brisket was three generous slices with just enough fat to eat it without trimming it off and loading it with flavor. The brisket is where I tried each sauce, all were good, although the spicy wasn't hot by my standards. The Carolina was spot on tangy and sweet. Fries were really good too, spiced with garlic and maybe chive (?). Cornbread was okay, I'd like to see them add jalapenos. My only suggestion would be to add collard greens to the menu. They do offer beans and my dining partner had them, but I was too full to ever try them.Spot on for an Irish guy bringing Southern BBQ to a neighborhood bar!“
“I've been going there for as long as I can remember. Always get the rotisserie chicken and wings. Potato and macaroni salad. But for the first time last week, I tried the Chicken Pot Pie.It definitely the best one I've ever had.“
“Laid back atmosphere. Delicious food. I'm a big eater, and the $20 special filled me up twice, and I had a little left over for a snack. I can't recommend this place enough.Parking: It's in a 4 unit strip. 2 out of 4 are closed in the evening. Plenty of parking for the size of the business.Kid-friendliness: It is a little loud and smokey. Nobody is going in there to sit for a quiet meal. Perfect for a small family, and if your kids are as loud as mine, you're not spoiling anyone's meal.“
“I was in town for work and I was craving BBQ. Luckily this was one of the top suggestions along the route I needed to take.Very happy I stopped and I was lucky enough to even try one of the owners custom wing flavors. The pulled pork sandwhich with slaw on it was delicious and definitely recommended. One of the better BBQ places I've tried from around the country. You won't go wrong stopping by to have a bite!“
