My friend and I sat at the bar and Lou was exceptional....she was friendly, informative, perfectly polite and made an excellent Manhattan. My steak was done exactly as ordered and delicious. I eat out often and have been in the business for many, many years but I don't frequent chain restaurants and this was my first time, but definitely not my last.“
“Looks like a biker bar at first. But once inside you realize it's not at all. It's a place where all kinds of folks mingle with good food and friendly staff. I like their burgers and I usually ask for a side of one of their many sauces to put on the burger rather than ketchup or mustard. Dark sand stormy is a favorite of mine on wings or burgers. Their pulled pork is very good also and their ribs will literally fall off the bone.“

We had brisket , chicken , broccoli salad , Mac and and cheese ( just to name a few of the many things we ordered )When we got home and had it we couldn’t get over the flavors and taste of all the food. “Great find in Warren! I love what they've made of this place. Relaxed vibe and ambiance inside. Got the dry rub wings and the pulled pork sandwich. The wings and seasoned fries were excellent. The pulled pork sandwich was huge and tasted pretty good. The cocktails were okay. Overall, it was a good experience.“
“Got the Brisket meal and it came with two sides. First the Brisket was served with fatty and lean slices. All was tender and moist. The bark was well set and flavorful. I got French fries and Cole slaw as my sides and was totally sufficient to fill my large stomach“

“Great all around experience. Smoked wings and brussel sprouts were terrific, wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection. Pulled pork, brisket and chicken sausage were all great in their own way with nice blends of flavor and a good mix of crisp and tender bits of pork and brisket. The food didn't need extra sauce, but it did add a little to the pork. Finally, we all agreed that the skillet cornbread was amazing and would be worth doubling up on in the future!“

“My husband and I grab a quick beer at Great Northern a couple of Fridays each month - right before daycare pick up. Kitty is typically working, who is a total gem and takes great care of us. This past weekend, we threw an adult birthday party at GN BBQ and many adults in our lives have kids, so kids were there, too. It was a total blast and pure chaos - the GN team was extremely patient and made us feel at home in one of the best neighborhood spots around. Huge thanks to Hannah, Adam, Meg, and the whole crew.“

“My husband and I had dinner for the first time here. Everything we had was delicious...especially the Brussel sprouts!! We had steak..which was pretty good and cooked just right. Our appetizer which was fried shrimp was yummy. Everything was wonderful including our waitress ( forgot her name). We definitely will be back soon!“

“I meant to take a picture of my food and forgot. I stopped here on a whim during my workday - first open place I saw at lunch time. It was fantastic! I had pulled pork that didn't need sauce (though I added a little just to taste that as well), probably the best mac and cheese I've had at a place like this, and excellent cornbread. The food cam out quickly and the people working (I believe the owner and his daughter?) were friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a quick, quality, affordable meal, don't skip this place. I hope work brings me down to this area again soon!“
