We were hosting a hot pot party that night and needed some solid, flavorful fried rice to round out the meal – something hearty to scoop up with all the broth and ingredients.
It turned out to be really good – perfectly seasoned, fluffy jasmine rice with that authentic wok hei flavor, balanced veggies, and just the right amount of savoriness. The portions were generous too, which was perfect for sharing.
What surprised me most was how it elevated our entire hot pot experience! The fried rice soaked up the rich broth beautifully and added a delicious contrast to the fresh dips and boils. Everyone at the party kept going back for more, and it tied everything together perfectly.

The heart stickers on the boxes was such a sweet touch. Fresh, delicious and great value for the money. The space is small, just a few tables. More of a takeout spot. “I have been coming here for years. This place has been serving solid Vietnamese food for decades. The food is excellent and has always been excellent. The quality has not changed in 30 years.
The prices are very reasonable. They haven't caught up as much as a lot of other southeast Asian restaurants in town.
Service is fast and friendly as well.“

“Pho 1 has changed a lot and I’ve been going there for years. Last night I ordered the beef soup for take out and when I got home and opened it the meat was like shredded and not the same consistency that had been in the past. These are hard times for all of us and giving customers scraps is no acceptable. I will go again later in the year and see if they have improved.“
