The Net Result Seafood Markets • $$
79 Beach Rd, Vineyard Haven

“HUGE fan of The Net Result. Seafood is very fair for what you order. I had the fried whole clams and my partner had a salmon burger. Everything was fresh and super flavorful. This is the kind of place I would expect and would want to go back to every time I am in the area. Service is great and super helpful. There aren't any tables inside but the bench area is plentiful.“

Aquatic Brewing Brewery • $$
661 Main St, Falmouth - 6.67 miles

“Best beer in town. Friendly servers. Dog friendly. Has been working hard to be a hub for the community which is much appreciated. There is nothing special about the location itself. Cons: Seating is not wheelchair friendly--all tables are high tables. No food service but you can bring your own.“

Smitty's Homemade Ice Cream Ice Cream Shop • $
326 E Falmouth Hwy, East Falmouth - 8.94 miles

“Great local ice cream. Not many carry grapenut flavor but they do-my favorite. You can buy it by the quart as well. Plenty of places to sit outside. Great family place and several bring their dogs. I can't fault them for price because everyone is pretty much the same but the prices are too high. I can't imagine taking a whole family out for a cone.“

“We really enjoy visiting Offshore Ale Company when we are on the Vineyard. We love its warm, casual and inviting atmosphere. The vegan options aren’t extensive, but there are enough. This time we had a great pizza which they veganized by leaving off the cheese. This is one of our favorite places.“

“Eureka! Finally we have found exceptional quality espresso on Martha's Vineyard! I've been to all the other establishments in town where overheated tasteless coffee with shaving cream on top has been the norm. Barista Adriana prepared Latte's this morning with a delicious creme topped with latte art. First sip confirmed that care was taken to perfect the espresso extraction with a smoothness in taste from the well roasted freshly ground coffee beans. Thank you for the quality and care that you offer. ❤️ We will definitely be back!“

“The service was fantastic. I do not remember the lady's name that helped us but she was great! She was working the cashier and was very helpful and a kind human being. One of the girls on the team left their grilled cheese there and someone from pie in the sky brought the grilled cheese to the boat we were on and gave It to us. Thank you so much for helping us and the food was delicious!“

Pie Chicks Bakery •
395 State Rd, Vineyard Haven - 0.62 miles

“Whew. Love LOVE this pie. Have stopped buying them one at a time because of the speed at which they disappear. The other baked goods are excellent. But you must try the pie. Probably top three crusts of my life and I am from the south. We also stop by before heading back to the ferry and take a few off island and they freeze well extending the joy for months to come. Treat yourself!“

Cape Cod Winery Wineries • $
4 Oxbow Rd, East Falmouth - 8.65 miles

“This place is confusing when arriving due to the one way road to make it here and when we arrived they had two people directing traffic on where to park at. The place from a parking standpoint is large, but do not see why they need to provide you on locations to park. We arrived as the winery is outsider. The public restrooms are outside in port a johns. I'd assume during the cold months this isn't a place where you can go to. I asked about the grapes and mainly locally in the state of MA, but some grapes come from California. The wine that we had was good. It was dry from that I like to drink. Pleasant assistance at this winery, I'd recommend it to someone seeking a place to go locally for wine.“

Bad Martha Farmer's Brewery Brewery • $$
876 E Falmouth, State Rte, East Falmouth - 9.26 miles

“This brewery was a hidden gem tucked away in a small town, we were on our way to the winery and took a quick look and honestly thought it was a strip club (adult gentlemen's club) until we left and my wife mentioned about this brewery and we pulled up and said it's not a strip club. This place is nestled right outside of Martha's Vineyard. This brewery has an interesting story, when English explorer Bartholomew Gosnold led the first European expedition to Cape Cod in 1602, he said that he encountered a mermaid named "Bad Martha" who guided him to an ingredient that he ended up using in a batch of ale for his crew.Bad Martha's still uses that ingredient to this day, but the brewery is also not afraid to experiment to create new, innovative beers like a jalapeno-cucumber lager or a dark IPA -- a blend of an IPA and a porter. This place had an awesome vibe to it. The beer were amazing. I loved the Pale Ale more than the Hazy IPA and took (2) 4 packs home to Pittsburgh, PA with me. Great service. Cheers!!“

“Unique place with old school vibes. If it weren't for being purposely set up this way, I would have given less of a rating. Cash only if you check this place out. Mainly a place for beer and liquor. I was going to play on the pool tables, but for $2 a game I decided not to.“

“Went for an early dinner after someone apparently made a large to-go order. As a result, they were low or out of a lot (no clams, clam chowder, sweet potato fries, etc. ). Was able to try fried lobster - personally, a waste of sweet lobster. But at least I can say I tried it! It was chilly out, otherwise we would’ve sat outside and enjoyed the ocean view.“

“Nestled on Martha’s Vineyard’s tranquil waterfront, Coop de Ville promises both an aesthetic and culinary treat. The ambiance, coupled with their expertly crafted wings, offers an experience that is distinct and memorable.Wing Flavors Breakdown:1. 3 Mile Island: ?️?️?️?️?️• Flavor Profile: This sauce is a masterclass in achieving the perfect equilibrium between heat and depth of flavor. Its layered composition gives an initial spicy punch, followed by subtle and savory undertones that make it irresistibly moreish.• Consistency: Strikes the right balance, ensuring every wing is uniformly coated without being drowned.2. Jamaican Jerk (Wet & Dry): ?️• Flavor Profile: Distinctive for its blend of spicy, sweet, and savory, the Jamaican Jerk here leans away from the excessive sweetness often associated with this flavor. Instead, it presents a well-rounded taste experience that echoes authentic Caribbean flavors.• Consistency: The wet version offers a glossy, rich coat, while the dry gives a textured, seasoned exterior, catering to varied preferences.3. Suicide: ?️?️• Flavor Profile: Contrary to its menacing name, the Suicide offers a delightful heat without pushing boundaries. The flavor is robust and rounded, making it a choice pick for those who appreciate spice without extreme intensity.• Consistency: Sufficiently saucy, ensuring each wing is enveloped in its rich flavor without becoming soggy.4. Cajun (Wet & Dry): ?️• Flavor Profile: This is where southern charm meets the wing world. The Cajun offers a peppery and smoky taste, evoking the rustic flavors of Louisiana.• Consistency: The wet variant provides a moist and tangy experience, while the dry seasoning brings out the crunch and character of the wing, allowing for a dual experience.Recommendations: The 3 Mile Island stands out as a must-try for its unparalleled flavor journey. However, each sauce brings its unique charm to the table. Depending on your preference for heat, sweetness, or a fusion of both, there’s a flavor awaiting your discovery at Coop de Ville. In Summary: Coop de Ville isn’t just about the wings; it’s about the art of wing-making. The meticulous crafting of each sauce, the consistency, and the evident passion behind each flavor profile make it a premier destination for wing aficionados. If you’re visiting Martha’s Vineyard, a pit stop here isn’t just recommended; it’s essential. ???“

“Behind The Bookstore is a gourmet café that opened in Edgartown, Massachusetts in May 2013. It was founded by husband and wife Jeffrey and Joyce Sudikoff. Jeffrey was the founder and chief executive officer of IDB Communications Group Inc., and a former part owner of the Los Angeles Kings hockey team. The couple had been summer residents on Martha's Vineyard since the 1970s and owned a home in Edgartown. When the bookstore Edgartown Books went up for sale in 2012, the couple decided to purchase it. They soon began fixing up an area in the back section of the store with the intention of turning it into a small café. Seating was available on the sun-drenched terrace behind the store. Following the café's success, the Sudikoffs moved it inside a former attorney's office behind the bookstore. The larger kitchen and café opened in 2015 and they added dinner service. Sails now cover the terrace (which acts as a roof) and a rain canopy was added on top for all-weather protection. My family and I had lunch at Behind The Bookstore this past summer while we were visiting Martha's Vineyard. Around lunchtime, my wife went inside the bookstore to check out the selection. While waiting outside with our kids, I noticed a menu on display for the café and was impressed with it. When my wife came back, I suggested that we have lunch "behind the bookstore". We were seated on the terrace and were impressed with the rain canopy hung over our heads. Our sons were tired and decided to take a nap in the stroller, so my wife and I just ordered lunch for the two of us. They had a cool bar area dubbed "The Hemingway Bar" that crafted some nice-looking cocktails. I had the "Royal Rising" (empress gin, pineapple, orgeat, lemon, dehydrated lemon) while my wife had the "A Night In Cabo" (tequila, campari, simple syrup, grapefruit, lime, lemon peel). Both were excellent! For food, we ordered and shared the "Chicken Sandwich" (slow cooker chicken breast, banana pepper tartare, arugula, tomato on garlic bread) and the "Italian Toast" (basil ricotta spread, tomato & garlic confit, prosciutto, fig balsamic glaze, sourdough). Both were so delicious and fresh-tasting! We had such a fun experience at Behind The Bookstore and would definitely return the next time we're on Martha's Vineyard!“
