“Cozy pub with a decent vibe in a quiet area by a lake. They have two dart boards and two pool tables. The onion rings were good but the fries were thin McDonalds style fries. I wish they served the thicker seasoned fries you get at some other pubs/taverns.“

“I can't even begin to express my gratitude that this space exists. It's an incredible hub of local music, art, and fun, always looking to expand on how it can best serve the community. I always feel welcome, it attracts the best people, I love not being around drunks, I drastically prefer how kava makes me feel over alcohol, and I have a blast playing with some of the kids who have clued me in on the location of their secret treasure trove of toys. It's also great to be able to dance AND kick back on a couch to watch the talented musicians who play there. The open jams are amazing. The fundraising events are powerful. Mike is the man. This is, without a doubt, my favorite venue/bar, and I'd be a constant fixture if I lived closer.“

“After my dad's funeral, we had a meal there and they did an incredible job, food was great, Kelly Dorgan handled all of the arrangements and they were spot on.Kelly who bartended, as well clearing tables and anything else that needed to be done she did. I recommend having the elks cater or put on any event for you and the cost was very very reasonable.“

“I had a wonderful experience with Friendly Reds. We had them cater our daughter’s birthday and deliver the food. Food was delicious as always- food was delivered hot and they allowed us to use their hot boxes to keep extra food hot as well. We had one little mess up with the sternos when they set up the food (they forgot the water trays) so this caused our first tray to be burnt. When we realized it and called them they offered to come right down and fix this and even refunded all of those trays. The customer service was wonderful and they were very responsive. Delivery was on time with friendly staff. Ordering catering was very simple and easy. Payment was easy (and prices were very reasonable!). This was our second event we used friendly reds for and we plan to continue to use them for catering!“

“My fiancé and I stopped in yesterday for pizza and I had to write a review. People can be quick to complain and don’t always say the good. First, the restaurant was very busy while we were there and it was clear they were understaffed. I saw three people working the floor. One out front doing take out, one running the bar and one waiter working the floor. To top it off, there was a birthday party with about a dozen guests. Our waiter was outstanding. Taking orders, making drinks, bussing the tables, he handled the stress unbelievably well and was pleasant and funny. Our food was delicious and came out piping hot. None of them missed a step. We will definitely be back. Kudos to the team and management well done!“

“First time visiting. We visit a lot of Mexican restaurants in and around the North Shore, and have our favorites. This is for sure a new favorite for us. The customer service at the location in Malden was excellent, our waitress was so polite, personable, and the right amount of attentive. The restaurant was spotless, I mean, SPOTLESS, including the restroom. The rest of the staff checked in, and the food was excellent.“

“Evviva is one of my favorite local casual dining spots. The food and atmosphere are great. Plenty of TV's to watch a game if that's your thing. The beer and drink selection are great.

On my most recent visit. I had Grace as my server. She was outstanding. Very friendly, knowledgeable and attentive. I have a dairy allergy so an italian style restaurant can be a challenge. The menu changes seasonally but she was able to help me identify the things that I could eat. The rolls with the olive oil/herbs were so good. I ended up getting a pizza (without cheese). It had, pepperoni, onions, and cherry peppers. It was very good.

“Arugula salad is the best ever! Shrimp cocktail is excellent. The Lobster Guacamole, Spicy shrimp & hummus apps also excellent. Best entrees- Short Rib, Half roasted Chicken, Fish Tacos & their burgers delish. “This was my first true experience trying some level Indian or Nepalese food, and it was very good. I can't speak to authenticity, but as someone who isn't the most adventurous eater, this place was really great. The Naan and meats were delicious. We really enjoyed having multiple types of Naan to mix and match with our meal. I had the 65 Chicken at the medium spice level and loved it. We tried a variety of the curries and passed them around. For a family of 4 with one drink each it was just about $100, so very reasonable when most of us came back with leftovers. The service is fast. Don't be fooled by the inside. It isn't anything over the top, pretty barebones, but when the food came out we were amazed. I know we will be coming back here to try more of their expansive menu.“

“First, I'd like to say I tried contacting Charlie's before I went this route. I didn't get a response. I've been to Charlie's with a group of 8 for lunch. It was very good. We got what we ordered and everything was delivered together. On Friday, 4 of us went there for food and drinks before the Folk Festival. Okay, Corona, I asked for lime. Didn’t get it. No biggie. Two of us ordered hamburgers, one ordered a tuna sandwich, the 4th haddock. Nope, no haddock. Okay, sirloin tips. Nope. Country chicken. Nope and don't know what it is. Okay....I'll have a hamburger. 15 minutes after (mind you 25 minutes have already passed), sorry. no buns. How about white bread! 40 minutes after initial order, hamburger on white bread and something resembling a tuna sandwich (?) arrives. We felt sorry for the waitress. But definitely poor service. I'm sorry I have to post this, I like helping local businesses, but lack of listed items was horrible.“

They start with a perfectly flavored scarpetta, the bread is warm and the oil is perfectly flavored. The drink menu is extensive, and the bar does a great job. The calamari app is prepared in the Italian style, and it tastes fresh. The main courses are average size, delicious and beautifully presented. If you are too full for one of the decadent desserts, they also offer mini desserts so you don't have to miss out. We went on a busy night, but the staff was full of smiles, welcoming and courteous . Absolutely recommend this place!“
