“I've been going to Gene's since I was about 11, so 1981!!!! Of course, back then, it was for candy and soda, lol!! As I got older, I realized what a hidden gem it truly is! They have great subs and pretty much anything Italian. Not just the deli but stocked on the shelves as well. I don't make sauce because theirs is so good. Makes my life easier to boot! Thank you Gene's. Everyone who works there is very nice and wicked happy to help. Every time I go in, it brings back memories of walking to the pool and stopping at Gene's on our way there. I've never been disappointed or dissatisfied with anything I've gotten here! That's a lot over 42 years. Just sayin lol!“

“Love love love Country Sooper! Been coming here for years as a local spot to get subs and sandwiches. Has all the munchies you need to go along with your sand which as well. The staff is always willing to help and patient when ordering. Not only does it have sandwiches but also pasta salads, coleslaw, potato salad, etc. perfect spot if you are running around town and need easy lunch option. They even cater if you have a need for it. Cute little spot to stop in even to get some snacks and drinks. They also have the best tuna salad around!“
“The service was great. Three separate people greeted me with friendly remarks. The price is very reasonable for the size of the sandwiches. The quality is 4-4.5 stars, if compared to the best sandwiches I’ve had in this price range. Easily twice as good as something like Panera at the same price (not that Panera is a deli, but they serve low quality sandwiches for $12-15).“
“I had the cranberry walnut chicken salad for the first time today and it was delicious. There was plenty of chunky white meat chicken, walnuts and plump cranberries in there, just the way I like it. I also wanted to thank Michelle for her excellent service. I will definitely order again once I finished this batch.“
