“We used Maya catering for our event and we were super happy with the food, service and our experience with them. They make the best South Indian / Tamil food in the Boston area. Loved the 65, parotta, goat pepper fry. Highly recommend ! Wish they opened a South Indian restaurant !“

“Although a restaurant serving both Greek and Indian dishes may seem strange, do not let that deter you. This restaurant lives up to their name in quality and service. My daughter had a Gyro plate, while my wife and I had the Awadhi Jackfruit Korma and Peri Peri Kingfish. Everything was delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant. We will definitely return!“

“Went out for a late night drive and was glad to have come across this place at midnight. Got a quick snack of samosas, masala chai and masala lassi. The service was fast and friendly.
This is a fast casual spot so the lassi came bottled and the chai came out of a dispenser machine. Everything was decent but nothing to write home about. The prices felt a little steep at $5 for a samosa and $4 for each drink.“

“We had pani puri here which was very forgettable and taste was lacking flavor. Puri were made with cheap substitute . You can buy pack of 3 puri(s) in costco for $7-8. I recommend using that and add bit more spices in pani puri. Samosa was good and appreciated the complimentary masala tea.“

“This is the second time in one week my friend and I have chosen this restaurant as our destination for food, drinks, and merriment and we were not disappointed. The staff is a delight, both times we were greeted with a warm smile and they were very knowledgeable recommending dishes and levels of spice. The naan bread is delicious and the appetizers and entrees we ordered were amazing as well bursting with so much flavor. The cocktails were crafted with precision and so much passion from the wonderful bartender. The live music is great! We definitely recommend Chulo restaurant and plan on returning again and again!“

“Living nearby, Kantipur has become my go-to every week for quarantine takeout. I've tried all the chicken dishes about 3 times by now and I still can't decide which is the best! But my favorite menu item is the vegetable pakora appetizer. Dip it in the chutney sauce and you'll understand. 🎁🎊“

“Gave it 4 stars as I got a chicken lunch box and there was only 3 chicken chunks. The taste however was fantastic. The curry chicken and veggie samosa was well worth it. Would have been 5 stars had there been more protein. Great lunch for sure with super taste.“

“You have to visit this Indian restaurant, by far best Indian food I have had in the US. Be careful with asking for spicy food, the chef is tuned to adjust spice level as per Indian pallet.
Great food, polite staff, we had Punjabi Kadi, Bartan bhartha and mango moose.
Definitely recommend.
Vegetarian options: They have rich spread of vegetarian options.“

“Wow!! Incredible food!! Definitely one of the best if not the best Indian food I’ve had in the Greater Boston Area. We got the paneer tikka masala with coconut rice and a cheese dosa to share and everything was absolutely delicious. The paneer tikka masala was so fragrant and flavorful and it was a perfect pairing with everything else we ordered. Dosas were definitely a lot bigger than I expected but it was a pleasant and welcome surprise. 10/10 recommend.“

“This is clearly the best Indian food in the greater Boston area by a long mile. All the dishes have perfect consistency, are very tasty and aromatic, have fresh ingredients, and have a special savory quality above other Indian restaurants. Also, the chefs will make the food based on your preference of spiciness (and I've actually ordered vindaloo, which is supposed to be spicy, in other local restaurants that was served mild!) no matter what the dish. The selection is larger and more interesting that at any other local restaurant, with a good selection of special dishes, breads, and dosas in addition to all the traditional dishes. There is an amazingly good selection of several draft and bottled beers (for example, Night Shift and Jacks Abby offerings on tap, and Dogfish Head and others in bottles), which is EXTREMELY rare for Indian restaurants, which usually serve the worst quality beers. Finally, the location (Arlington Center, with plenty of on street parking) and inside decor are great, with a modern and stylish interior with comfortable seating. The wait staff is always friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. So, if you want to have the best experience in Indian dining (even if the dishes are a dollar or two more expensive), make Punjab your destination. I've been to dozens of other local Indian restaurants over the past 37 years and this is by far the best one!“

“In six years living in the North Shore, our family has probably eaten here five times. We have enjoyed the food each time. Service is prompt and unobtrusive. Tonight we had Saag Paneer and Paneer Tikka Masala with garlic naan and chai. Fresh, warm naan is always tasty but at some restaurants as it cools it becomes doughy and tasteless. At Rang, the naan is good hot or cool. The curries were tasty and the medium spiciness was just right. The samosas had lots of stuffing, and the wrap was not oily (an issue at many).“

They serve good cocktails and other drink options.
They have good array of tandoor, friend and traditional Indian entrees.

“Is mallcore back? After wandering the Burlington Mall in a haze of overstimulation and deal-hunting, we found ourselves at Gourmet India—a true hidden gem that offered exactly the refresh we needed.
First, let’s talk about the food court setup. Tucked just out of sight from the bustle of the stores, it feels like a quiet reprieve, with a massive skylight above that brings in natural light and a touch of calmness. The stalls are neatly lined up, which makes browsing easy and ideal for dividing and conquering with friends.
Now, onto Gourmet India itself. There’s something charming about the humble presentation here: dishes served in paper and Styrofoam on those red plastic trays, nostalgic of classic mall food but with a twist. We went for the 3-item platter with rice, garlic naan (grilled to order!), a mango lassi, and two pieces of gulab jamun—all for around $25, which felt like an absolute steal.
The flavors didn’t disappoint. Every bite felt homemade and genuinely crafted. The chicken tikka masala was the star of the show—tender, fragrant, and utterly satisfying.
Gourmet India didn’t just serve us a meal; it gave us the perfect mid-shopping recharge, reminding us of the joys of a low-key mall food court, just with a little extra warmth and flavor.“

“This Indian food was good . The mango ? Lassi was absolutely delicious. The friendliest people serving the food . I met them at the “ Copley Farmers Market “. Parking ?️ you have the option of looking for meter parking or parking in the garage which is less than 1/2 block and is a reasonable price . The price of the food is good for the quality and portion size .
Parking: Paid parking less the 1/2 a block the price is reasonable. Or you can look for meter parking but it’s a bit difficult .“
“Nirvana is one of our favorite Indian restaurants. We dine here often. The food is consistently good, the service is fine, and the ambiance is nice. We wish those large TVs over the bar were not there. No one seems to watch them, but they distract.“

The must try appetites are

2-Hyderabad chicken 65-Perfect appetiser for Indian food lovers.
3-Steamed chicken momo.
The combination of exceptional food, attentive service, and inviting atmosphere makes this a place you’ll want to revisit time after time. Whether it’s for a romantic date night or a lively group outing, it’s the perfect spot for any occasion.“

“The staff stayed up to attend to my order, and when it arrived from Uber Eats it was the best butter chicken I’ve ever had. Second place is my friend’s mom’s homemade butter chicken, which I thought couldn’t be beat… until now. It was just incredible. They could include more naan per order as well, 1 naan for $4 is a little much imo. But otherwise great.“

“Great Indian/Nepali entreesThe taste is excellent here and the portions are fair for the price! Though I would say the spice levels are a bit simmered down for the American preference but this can be easily resolved if you select your spice level to be on the higher levels! All in all, this establishment makes good food and provides excellent service! Would I say this is the best Indian food around? Probably not but it does the job for your Indian cravings.4/5 at most. Nothing more“

“This is a great place for a quick bite. The food is good, big portions for reasonable prices.
We were a big group and everybody enjoyed their dish, which included vegetarian, kosher and halal options.
The place is located in an area called "the garage" and there are some tables, but not enough for a big group (we were more than 10).
The staff was patient with our big group, and that by itself made the experience so much better. Also, this is a sort of open kitchen and it was nice to see all the preparations.
Vegetarian options: There are many dishes with paneer. And it was really great.“

“For all the Momo lovers in area. Tried the pan fried veggie Momo and tandoori Momos. They were indeed really good but a few suggestions for the restaurant:More Momo chutney with orders would be great and spicy chutney on side too. And as for the tandoori Momos, they felt a little raw which took away from flavor.Overall great “

“The owner is an incredibly nice, personable guy who does a really great job at this place. Tried the boneless tenders and they were great, sauces are flavorful and their size is decent. Fries and Onion ring sides were really good. Overall everything from calling, to picking up to enjoying the food was a great experience.
Parking: Spots along the sides of the street but hard to find sometimes. A few nearby businesses have a small handful of spots as well, but not much.“

“My review is solely focused on food. It’s hands-down one of the best Indian vegetarian food I’ve had in the Boston area. Vada Pav, Pav Bhaji, Samosa Chaat and Gobi Manchurian were all winners. I look forward to trying various other items from their menu. Highly recommend!“

“my friend and i got a gluten free and vegan pizza as well as some cauliflower and i have to say, it was great! pizza is honestly something i honestly avoid because i don’t often find that the restaurants do it justice, but this was great and the variety of flavors they offer are wonderful. would like to try more of their offerings and see if anything sticks out as a must try, but i definately recommend checking this out as it is an option for nearly everyone with all of the dietary options they allow for!“

“I ordered delivery from here.
I LOVED the Meat Kofta Masala, Saag Paneer, and Spicy Chicken Chili!!! These dishes were absolutely amazing. So flavorful! I got the medium spice level which was not very spicy except the spicy chicken chili so might be braver next time. I also got Nan which was standard.
The lamb biryani was essentially flavorless. It was probably the worst biryani I’ve ever had the misfortune of eating.
I will be returning for the first three dishes.
If you like biryani, DO NOT ORDER IT FROM HERE.“

“Excellent! We threw a large retirement party at my office and the retiree requested Indian food. Not too familiar with the cuisine, I called Zam Zam’s and the owner Muhammad invited my fellow party planner and I to a taste testing and helped us plan the menu. The party was a huge success, and everyone complimented the food. It was fresh, delicious and there was the perfect balance between chicken and vegetarian options!“

Everything was spiced perfectly and was amazing. 10/10 perfect comfort food and also good day food. Really happy we stopped by.“
