Excellent place to have some food.
1st time here and it won't be my last. Fresh flavors with just the right amount of spice.
This is definitely one of the better spots around for chips, el pastor, birria and carnitas! Very good spot, definitely what I think of as authentic and delicious!

Monarca Taqueria is one of the better spots around for chips, el pastor, birria and carnitas. It is described as authentic and delicious, with the best burritos and queso in town. The birria is the best around town, the pozole soup is delicious and the espresso martini is to die for. The ambiance and food quality are excellent. A chef from Mexico said the food was super authentic. The Quesadia Pollo was a lot of food and delicious to the last bite. The shrimp ceviche is delicious, and the quesadillas and birria tacos are also good, though the meat could use a bit more seasoning and comes off a little bland at times. The food is great and full of favor and the staff is friendly and courteous. A recent visit found the food blend and lack luster, with the al pastor and tortillas a bit dry and the service not as attentive.
