Not Your Average Joe's is a fantastic restaurant with friendly, knowledgeable servers. The focaccia and parm/oil dip were amazing starters. The Clam Chowder, Ahi Wontons, Chicken Caesar salad, and Lobster roll were all perfect. The Key Lime pie for dessert was tart and delicious. The restaurant features an awesome array of food choices, including sirloin tips, burgers, cheese pizza, and chicken Parm, all of which have been praised for their deliciousness. The crab stuffed flounder was also very good, although some wished it had more crab.

Despite some disappointments regarding food quality on a second visit, such as gummy mashed potatoes and small portions, Not Your Average Joe's still offers fresh, hot dishes in generous portions, like the Mustard-crusted chicken and fish & chips. The drink selection is also appreciated, with items like the Lemon drop martini being noted as crisp and enjoyable.

While the service can be inconsistent at times, with some customers experiencing less attentive service, others have found the staff to be accommodating and patient. The main issue was the noise level due to a full house, but many still enjoyed their time at the restaurant.
