We have never been disappointed here. The food is excellent and reasonably priced. The meatball appetizer can be a meal - 6 meatballs and a huge slice of delicious bread. You can make your own meatball sub. I tried the Big Mac tacos this time and can't say enough good things about them. Service was friendly and attentive. Highly recommend.
Were out for a delightful lunch seafood platters. Last day August 2026 so it was great. Everything tastes wonderful.
Excellent variety of dishes. Ample portions.

The Gateway Tavern offers a variety of great food and drinks, with something for every picky eater. They have lots of seafood and their chowder is very good. The swordfish special is a must-try, and the incredible lobster rolls are also a favorite. Amazing Salmon and the pot of little necks are not to be missed. The restaurant provides live entertainment and a cozy back deck with a marsh and river view. The staff is great and couldn't be nicer. It is a favorite spot for many, providing a nice atmosphere and meal.
