OK, these are not NYC bagels, so don't go expecting that classic "snap crust with a dense inside". That said, we definitely find Bagel Hound a cut above the Cape Cod competition. We love their everything bagels: encrusted with a cornucopia of goodies, they always satisfy.
Regarding bagels I'm spoiled....born and raised in New York ......your bagel might be tasty to many but for me it's much too soft and does not deliver the taste of a NY style bagel sandwich served with Lox & cream cheese, adding my favorite of a thin slice of red onion and tomato.The NY style bagel is boiled & oven baked, producing a crispy crust and chewy but very firm inside......then you're biting into a crisp firm bagel that explodes with many flavors and textures, that repeats...read full review

Not particularly friendly service. Went today, not crowded; asked if they could scoop out the bagel for me, and he replied " we don't scoop". Guess what? I don't tip.Someone criticized me for being "entitled". Sorry, the issue here is lousy service, not entitlement
