We've had wonderful experiences here off-season, including a great dinner a couple months ago where we chatted with the owner's wife, who was also our server. That visit was warm, friendly, and memorable. Unfortunately, our recent high-season visit was different We had a few drinks — two martinis, a beer, and after-dinner cocktails. When settling up there was a $100 bottle of wine listed that we did not order. It didn't match anything we drank. I flagged it immediately, and the server removed it in seconds, without any apology or explanation. I'm glad I caught it, but guests should check their bills carefully during tourist season. The food was okay, and the billing issue left us disappointed, especially given how much we enjoyed this place earlier in the year.

Tonight, my husband and I went to Milanos for the first time. We arrived around 415pm, before the restaurant was open, but the bar was open. We sat at the bar, because that's my preferred spot anyway, and had an amazing experience. The bartender, Jamie, was amazing! He was so personable and friendly, we would definitely come back just because of him! My husband and I both had the alfredo, my husband had the steak on his. Everything was so delicious, including the bread and butter first served when we sat down. Jamie was the winning factor in our returning though. Someone who knows how to do their job and makes you feel welcome, makes all the difference in the world. Way to go, Milanos!

We went to Milanos tonight, it was a 5.0. Picked it from a Google Map search something close to Chatham... How do I know it's good?..I travel for business and pleasure, we dine out as a family frequently. I've been to 100's of restaurants. Milanos was better than my best, my families best. It's a small home converted to a restaurant which only adds to the flavor of this experience. Well done Milanos...you know what you are serving!!

Vongole wasn’t cooked properly - didn’t emulsify the sauce, their cheap linguine was overcooked, littlenecks weren’t used. The massive clams they used were overcooked. The streaming mob movies are tacky. Couldn’t wait to bail!

Milano was such a pleasant surprise in Harwich! The food was absolutely fantastic, and the service was just as wonderful.
We especially loved Sarah — she was incredibly friendly and gave us excellent recommendations that made our experience even better. Everything we ordered was delicious, from the rich Bolognese to the perfectly prepared chicken and pasta. The wine was lovely, and the tiramisu was truly out of this world!
I highly recommend this restaurant and can’t wait to go back!

Cozy restaurant with excellent service. The food was mixed--delicious appetizers (bruschetta and Ceasar salad) but the main dishes were average: both shrimp scampi and fra diablo had too much sauce. Overall, pleasant experience.
Milano's in Harwich, MA., lived up to and exceed our expectations. Our experience was absolutely perfect! This restaurant, previously known as Villa Roma is recently under new ownership and has a nice refreshed look and feel. They have kept the coziness, close table feel of an authentic Italian bistro - and added modern interior features, furniture, and lighting. The food was exactly how we remembered it - our "favorite" server was there. If you don't like to be close to other diners and talk to your neighbors -this may not be your scene. Service was outstanding as always, the food was delicious, as was the recommended wine choice. We ordered two of the classics - but folks around us were having a variety of entrees and were all raving about them. We did not get dessert -but a quick glance around the room told us that the desserts were excellent too. We will be back!
