Mark made us feel welcome. After a long day being a tourist in Boston, having dinner and a beer at this 50-year-old tavern was a real treat. It was Wednesday so I had the chicken Parmesan special that was served with penne pasta and salad with champagne vinaigrette dressing. My wife enjoyed the chicken salad sandwich that was well-prepared with cranberries on perfectly toasted bread.
Finished our last night in Boston eating dinner here have to say it was a great experience the food was great and so was the service ant atmosphere. If we are ever back in Boston again we would so come pack here again

I got the spicy chicken sandwich grilled and somehow they got it to be crispier than fried chicken sandwiches I’ve had at other places! Also great spice level without making it unenjoyable to eat.
